Assad Wants a Dialogue. The Ministry of Information announced that Assad will be holding meetings in the next weeks for national dialogue. Facebook dissidents are overwhelmingly rejecting such a step and two ideas are resonating widely amongst them. 1) Any one who meets with Assad does not represent the Syrian Revolution and should not speak on its behalf and, 2) Before any talk of dialogue, Assad must submit all those who killed Syrians the last 2 months to an international tribunal for prosecution. Politics run in the blood of our young Syrians, a hopeful sign that no one will, in the near future, rob them of their freedom and liberty again.
Killing Streets. So far, RPS has information about the death of six Syrians this morning. Three died in Homs, two in Kaboon, and a woman in Dara’a Mrs. Bassam Aref whose husband is a doctor.
Damascus. A Video showing the savagery of the Assad regime when a young lady by the name of Lina Mohammad gets detained forcefully and violently by his thugs.
Syrian Embassy. The website has been hacked. See the video showing on its front page before it goes down.
Detentions. Just in the Aleppo region, about 40 people have been detained but the numbers may quickly go upward by tomorrow.
Zabadani. Demonstrations are still on-going late into the night as this Video shows.
Talkalakh. A Video showing Syrians coming to the microphone to abrogate their membership in the Ba’ath Party. One called it the Nazi Party, which goes to show Syrians are a bit more sophisticated than Assad gives them credit for. All those quitting will be looking for a new political organization to join after Syria is free.
Moarat an-Numan. A Video showing how large the demonstrations were today.
Hama. A Video showing young men tearing down Assad’s picture. Assad’s pictures are Syria’s Berlin Wall. And another Video showing people throwing their shoes at Assad.
