(Before It's News)

There are various types of mattresses available in the market, so you can choose one as per your comfort. This guide will describe you about hybrid foams, which is often known as memory foam too. Hybrid foams have varying properties from latex and memory foam, so it’s important to find out exactly how they differ.

About Hybrid Foam

Both latex and memory foam have been in market for more than 20 years, and in meantime, numerous other hybrid foams have been created. Hybrid firm mattress is the latest one in the world of mattress. Any class foam, which is not latex and memory foam is classified as hybrid foam.

There are various types of hybrid foams offering properties and benefits of latex and memory foam. Additionally, being similar, most of them have managed to improve the disadvantages of memory foam like rebound characteristics and heat retention.

What’s Hybridized In Hybrid Mattress?

A hybrid is basically made up by combination of two distinct elements. In case of hybrid mattress, specialty foam mattress and old-school innerspring mattress are the two main elements. Typically, a hybrid foam mattress has memory foam and multiple layers of coils.

Types of Hybrid Foams

There are two types of hybrid foams available in the market, which are described as below:

  • Laygel

It is”synthetic latex” made up of advanced foam. This mattress weighs around 60 kgs and comes with medium density. It has similar foam to that of latex. Also, it has about zero-vicoelastic threshold, meaning it doesn’t depend upon the heat for molding like memory foam.

Due to its inability of molding fully, it returns to its original shape much easier as compared to memory foam. Memory foam is not suitable to people, who roll over for the whole night, in such cases laygel hybrid foam is a must pick.

  • Coolblue

This is an advanced memory foam mattress, which comes without heat and a relatively faster recovery time. Its firmness level is similar to memory foam mattress. It weighs around 75 kgs and has medium density/firmness.

Coolblue has advanced PU based foam, which is one of the latest technologies in market. It has less heat retention as compared to memory foam, which makes it relatively cooler foam. It returns to the original shape quickly than the memory foam, thereby making it more responsive.

If you feel hot on memory foam or you are a warm sleeper, then coolblue is helpful. A coolblue mattress gives the best heat compromise, thereby reducing the heat level but still providing you a memory foam type of feel.

Besides these, there are numerous other hybrid foams in the market with varying qualities. You can pick the mattress as per your comfort level.

Conclusion

When you go for shopping a new mattress, it’s important to check its comfort level as only the name cannot tell about the comfort of the mattress. Someone may find memory foam to be more comfortable than a latex one and vice versa. Therefore, check the mattress carefully and make an intelligent purchase.
