A senior administartive official of the U.S president Mr. Obama had said that the Indian government should ensure the full implementation of the civil nuclear deal between India-U.S. and that New Delhi is aware about that they should ensure this, but haven’t ensured it yet.
“The Indians know very well, how we feel about the necessity to get these things done and they assure us that they are but they are still not done,” Ellen Tauscher who is the Undersecretary of State for Arms Control, had told the Defense Writers Group (Washington Based) at a breakfast meeting.
While responding to a Question the Undersecretary of State for Arms Control had said that, “We are working closely with the Indian allies and partners. There are a number of things, legislatively, that they (India) have got to do including some of the indemnity issues,”.
Notably, during the George Bush Administration, She was a member of the Congress, who had opposed the deal but now she is in favor of its full implementation.
