(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. April 4, 2017, 6:44 AM (IDT)

Police in Russia now believe a suicide bomber, a 22-year old man from Kazakhstan, with close ties to radical Islamists, was behind the terrorist attack on the St. Petersburg subway Monday, April 3, which killed 11 people and injured 45.  He is thought to have carried out the explosion on the train and planting a second bomb that was deactivated in time at a metro station.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
