On 6/21/2013, Fukushima Diary reported “Tepco stocking contaminated water in the leaking reservoir No.1 again, Tepco “diluting” [URL]”
According to Tepco, they are transferring contaminated water to another crippled reservoir, No.2 as well.
Tepco completed emptying reservoir No.2 by 4/22/2013, but all β has been detected from the leakage detection hole water.
From the leakage detection hole water of North East side taken on 6/26/2013, 730,000,000 Bq/m3 of all β nuclides were measured from.
The newly “reserved” water is from the desalination system, which also leaked 26 Giga Bq/m3 of all β nuclides on 6/21/2013.
(cf, New leakage from desalination system, 26 giga Bq/m3 of all β, Tepco, “250L, no overflow from the warehouse” [URL 2])
They already transferred 40m3 of the contaminated water to reservoir No.2 on 6/27/2013 in order to “dilute” the retained water.
Into another crippled reservoir No.1, Tepco also transferred 40m3 of contaminated water in order to “dilute” as well on 6/26/2013.
They removed the new contaminated water on 6/27/2013, but the removal volume was 33m3. 7m3 of the newly reserved water is remained in the reservoir No.1.
