(Before It's News)

Hey, if your TV works, turn on the Marathon, I’m tired of watching people suffer!

I wonder why people are angry at politicians and corporate conglomerates.  While 3.7 million people are without power in the NE, 4 gigantic electric generatorswere being set up in Central Park to handle the NY Marathons administrative center.  Multitudes of “first responders” and police have been or will be pulled out of the rescue efforts to handle the marathon course as 40,000 expected runners are adding to the mix of chaos already throughout the NY area.  The Governor’s and Mayor’s office want to make a statement that NY will not be crippled and will go on saying  virtually, ”The world is looking at us, we will persevere”.  As millions shake their heads while still shredding through their life’s belongings, some still under water, life is not an amusement park or a time to wonder about the sponsor’s bottom line and THEIR commitment to make the race happen.  The 1% will be taken care of, this is a prime example of where priorities are in the REAL world.  Manhattan is now dry and functioning, so what’s the worry, right, WE”RE OK.

”I paid more than a billion dollars for this Presidentcy, NO FREE OPS”! says Miltt Rob-Me

“The police are stopping people who are trying to cut in the line,” said Steven Golub, 53, an attorney who waited in line for hours at a Manhattan gas station. “There’s no gas anywhere else. There was a guy with diplomatic plates who tried to cut in the line and one of the cab drivers complained so the police actually stopped him.”  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/02/hurrican-sandy-aftermath-recovery-anger_n_2065852.html?ncid=wsc-huffpost-cards-headline

Police were in place at many spots to keep the peace between furious, frustrated drivers. In one instance, a man who attempted to cut in line was charged with threatening another driver with a gun on Thursday in the borough of Queens.

“When people cut the line, people are about to stone them,” said Chris Allegretta, who had stood in line for 90 minutes with a gas can at a filling station in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.

Yeah, things are normal, let’s all turn on the TV and watch some commercials and see runners run.

* 4 20KW generators could provide basic electricity to 160,000 homes @ 500 Watts per home per hour.
