Chevy Silverado and Impala named Cars.com 2014 Car and Truck of the Year!
Cars.com picked the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Impala and the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado as its Best Car and Best Truck for 2014! These awards are presented each year at the North American International Auto Show. The award is a highly prestigious award, and for Patrick Olsen, editor-in-chief of Cars.com, states, “Winning just one of these awards for an automaker is pretty tough, given the high number of quality cars and trucks that debut each year. For Chevrolet to grab both awards show the depth of their ability to build desirable vehicles.”
The Silverado, along with the Impala, has been completely redesigned for the 2014 year. It earned its place at the top with its chassis strength, redesigned interior, and the new MyLink connected infotainment system. Alan Batey, General Motors senior vice president of Global Chevrolet states, “Winning these awards is a huge honor for Chevrolet. The fact that the top vehicles in both these categories is a Chevrolet speaks volumes about the strength of our entire portfolio”.
