Public School Students Ordered to Sing Shocking Lyrics to “Ode to Islam”
Articles like the one below, or even the video below, keep popping up with an increase in frequency all over the Internet, which likely means one thing: Allah and Mohamed are coming up in public school classes, or in class conversations, far more often than the average Christian parents probably know about, or would approve of. Who can blame them right? It was just earlier this month when Joe Kennedy, assistant coach of the Bremerton High School football team in Bremerton, near Seattle, was suspended from his job because he refused to stop praying out at the 50 yard line before and after games. To hear him tell the story on Hannity one night, Kennedy said he would wait until the teams were huddled up and shaking hands before he’d quickly sneak off for a moment or two of reflection. He specifically made an effort to target the times for when most of the kids were engaged with one another, so as NOT to be a disruption.
QUESTION: WHY WAS JOE SUSPENDED?
ANSWER: BECAUSE HE WAS PRAYING TO JESUS… PERIOD.
Fast forward two weeks, and the teacher from the article below not only involved the students, something Joe Kennedy NEVER did, she forced it on them as part of the class. Joe freely admitted during his TV interview that sometimes kids or even coaches from other teams would run out and join him in a quick silent prayer, but it was never something Joe brought up or forced on the kids. Joe gets suspended for trying to privately say a quick prayer to Jesus, the teacher having kids sing “Ode to Islam” I’m willing to bet got no more than a “stern talking to.” It’s insane and It HAS to be addressed.
Next, take a look at the incident that took place in the video. There, to help 9th grade kids “better understand the goals of terrorists,” teachers instructed kids to create propaganda posters for the Islamic State. WHAT?!?!? Are you kidding me? The assignment died a quick death once parents began to find out, but the fact that teachers lacked better judgment is a FAR bigger issue. The video below also references the incident from the article below where children were forced to sing. As you’ll see in the video, Nicole Negron, parent of one of the singers posted her concerns on Facebook after her son brought home a notebook that included a stick-figure man saying, “Believe in Allah! There is no other god.” So, just for clarification, it’s unconstitutional to sing “Amazing Grace” but school kids can sing praise songs to Allah? What the H-E-L-L is going on in America today? Check out the video, and then I’m going to tell you what IS, and what is NOT legal in your child’s classroom, and yes, I am in a position to do so.
California Middle School Makes Kids Sing About Islam
First of all, on hot button issues like this, don’t be someone who’s opinionated. PLEASE! Instead, be someone who is informed. Lesson number one: Don’t EVER talk about the “separation of church and state” again. Never. It’s not in the Constitution, never has been, and my guess is, it never will be. Several of our first Presidents were also men who helped write the Constitution, and they permitted CHURCH services to take place in the Capital Building every Sunday. They even let people pray to Jesus in the Capital building without it being a capital offense (no pun intended). It’s probably safe to say that the guys who wrote the Constitution, knew what they meant by it, and there is nothing that comes within the stratosphere of “separation of church and state” in the Constitution. That phrase is a bastardization created by a liberal Supreme Court which you can learn more about in, Freedom OF Religion, Not Freedom FROM Religion – THE REAL HISTORY!
When it comes to religion, there is no one definitive test that the Supreme Court has said can be used in all instances to determine if there has been a violation of a person’s First Amendment right, but as a general rule, courts normally start with what is known as the Lemon Test, named after a party to a case where this test was taken from. The rule is this: First, the statute prohibiting any type of religious speech must have a secular legislative purpose; second, its principal or primary effect must be one that neither advances nor inhibits religion; finally, the statute must not foster an excessive government entanglement with religion (meaning something that needs someone to constantly be a monitor for).
Moral of the story: Kids CAN learn about both Jesus or Allah in public schools, but it’s a very slippery slope as far as what is acceptable. If I were a parent in one of these schools were Islam was being taught, all I can tell you is I’d have someone curled up in a little ball wishing they were never born until everyone was treated EQUALLY.
We’ve all heard stories recently about Islamic teachings being foisted upon our children in public schools, with no equal time being given to Judeo-Christian beliefs.
However, even by the low bar set by some of these incidents, this one takes the cake for both utter shamelessness and complete weirdness.
According to KCAL-TV, the incident happened at Springview Middle School in the Orange County, California, city of Huntington Beach. A teacher composed a song called “Ode to Islam” as part of the social studies curriculum and made students sing it.
It’s meant to be sung to the ear-piercing melody of Rachel Platten’s godawful one-hit-wonder “Fight Song.”

The lyrics have to be seen to be believed, and may not be believed even then:
Like a sandstorm / on the desert
Sending camels / into motion
Like how a single faith / can make a heart open
They might only have one God / but they can make an explosion
And all of those things they have to say
Islam… Allah’s on the way
They will preach them loud tonight
Can you hear their voice this time?
This is their fight song
Spread Islam now song
Prove that they’re right song
Their power’s turned on, starting right now they’ll be strong
They’ll play their fight song
And they don’t really care / if no Jews or C’s believe
Cause they still have / A lot of others to reach
The only thing worse than this woman being on the social studies faculty is the horrifying thought that this incident might get her transferred to the creative writing department.
Needless to say, parents were less than thrilled.
“I believe that by singing this song, the children feel comfortable believing that maybe Allah is the only god, and maybe that they should start following him,” Susan Negron, grandparent of one of the students, said at a meeting of the Oceanview School Board Tuesday night. “And that I’m not OK with.”
Negron’s daughter, Nichole, also said that one of her son’s assignments included a stick figure that said, “Believe in Allah! There is no other god.”
Of course, the district issued a boilerplate statement saying that the curriculum is merely meant to teach students the basics of world religions, including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc.
“It was unfortunate that the lesson on Islam ended just prior to the tragic world events on Friday, Nov. 13,” school district superintendent Carol Hansen said, according to the Huntington Beach Independent. “It was not the intention of the teacher to incite anger or offend.”
I’d like to point out that while we’ve heard this statement tons of times, it’s never in reaction to a school assignment with a pop song like “Colossians Me Maybe” or “All About the Benjamin Netanyahus.”
So, just a warning out there to parents — keep a watch over your child’s school assignments, especially when they might be indoctrinating. It’s only a matter of time before this starts happening in your communities, too.

Those running the school know exactly what they are doing ! They are testing the waters and seeing the type of response they will get. But they are slick saying it’s not part of the curriculum. It’s their ridiculous ideology that’s driving them. This is a sick and twisted group.
