While I recognize that there is no ‘direct’ correlation to the amount of tax payer money Barack Obama has spent on lavish vacations and the overall performance of the VA’s suicide hotline, but to not at least indirectly link the two hardly seems it would be right either. Look, I realize Obama is so far left in his political ideology that pretty soon he might actually end up coming around on a person’s right side, and make no mistake: I abhor the ideology for the proven failure that it is, but I also abhor the man.
I don’t think I am unreasonable in my expectations as a member of the opposing party. I don’t expect the President to be up on a phone pole fixing whatever caused the VA suicide hotline to drop 1.4 MILLION calls JUST LAST YEAR ALONE, but I also cannot fathom how he looks himself in the mirror in the morning, much less thinks he deserves the lavish vacations he takes on our dime. We’re talking about human beings calling a suicide hotline. We’re talking about men and women who served this country who are calling that hotline, and 1.4 MILLION of them got dropped last year?
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I can’t imagine putting my head down at night (apparently on some damn nice pillows too), and knowing that while my fellow countrymen were reaching out in desperation before taking their own lives, they were being hung up on by a department I was responsible for. I’d be physically ill if it were me. Apparently it doesn’t bother Obama too much though. Judicial Watch told Infowars in February of 2016 that the Obama family vacation total was at least $74,124,562.48 and counting, so it appears despite the troubling news, Obama’s conscious is clear enough for him to still party like a rock star on our dime, and as you’ll hear below, he even had the nerve to say in his May 24th, 2014 – Weekly Address, that veterans had been “one of the causes of his presidency.” He is despicable.

VA putting new department in charge of suicide hotline for vets, but THAT center also has record of dropped calls.
In 2013, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs released a study that covered suicides from 1999 to 2010, which showed that roughly 22 veterans were committing suicide per day, or one every 65 minutes.
From Washington Examiner: A division of the Department of Veterans Affairs tasked with fixing up the VA’s broken veteran suicide hotline has dropped roughly 1.4 million phone calls from veterans since fiscal year 2015, a VA whistleblower told the Washington Examiner.
That high number of abandoned calls is raising questions about whether the VA is doing all it can to fix up the suicide hotline, which has been criticized as the latest part of the VA that is failing veterans.

Scott Davis, a whistleblower and program specialist at the VA’s Health Eligibility Center in Atlanta, noted that the VA’s Health Resource Center is slated to take over the VA’s suicide hotline. But according to data provided by Davis, the Health Resource Center is dropping hundreds of thousands of calls from veterans each year.
According to internal data provided by Davis, the center was on pace to abandon about 900,000 veterans’ calls in 2015. His data spanned the last 11 months of fiscal year 2015, and showed that 824,000 calls were unanswered or dropped.
The center was abandoning about 15 percent of all calls it received that year. Calls to the Health Resource Center deal with a range of issues faced by veterans, such as questions about eligibility and benefits. Davis’ data also show that in fiscal 2016 so far, the center has dropped more than 500,000 calls, for a total of roughly 1.4 million calls in the last 18 months.
The leader of the Health Resource Center is Matthew Eitutis, a former Air Force officer. He’s been in charge of the Health Resource Center for the last two years.
USA Today reported recently that about one in five calls have been dropped by the center. The abandoned call rate was 15.6 percent in 2015, and 19.9 percent in 2016 so far.
