Texas Gov. Calls For “Convention of the States” to Stop Barack H. Obama
For anyone who is a regular listener of Mark Levin’s radio program, you know that the Article V Convention of the States is something Mark has been supporting for some time now, because it is one of the last possible solutions in a long list of what was originally intended to be safeguards against runaway tyrants like Barack Obama.
In the first video below, get a brief background on the Constitutional provision, and why certain current and former members of Congress support it, along with various media personalities, not the least of which is Mark Levin. The proposal aims to invoke Article V of the U.S. Constitution to propose new amendments to the founding document. Opponents to invoking Article V say that there’s no telling what compromises crooked politicians will make at an Article V Convention, and the end result could be far worse than what we have now… but we are left with very few options.
The Executive Branch has gone completely off the reservation and made legislating from the Oval Office a regular practice when the President doesn’t get his way, so long as the President has a “pen and a phone with him,” (something prohibited by Article II), an ongoing and increasing problem with the U.S. Supreme Court is that it’s become a co-conspirator in tearing down our Constitution.
In practice, the Supreme Court has become nine unelected legislators (something prohibited by Article III), and Congress itself, the branch tasked with the power of the purse strings, has become so pathetic and weak, we’ve come to expect nothing more from them than whatever the winds of the liberal media tell them to do.
Agreeably, there is potential for compromises that could lead to disaster when it comes to proposing new amendments to the Constitution, however the witching hour draws near, and time is running out for the United States. Check out the following video:

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott led the charge in court against President Obama’s amnesty program for illegal aliens. Now, he’s joining the fight on another front, pushing a “convention of the states” proposal that has gained momentum in Obama’s second term as many conservatives attempt to rein in the federal government.
The proposal aims to invoke Article V of the U.S. Constitution to propose new amendments to the founding document.
On Friday, Abbott officially called for just such a convention to seize power from a federal government that is out of control and return it to the states. He called his proposed amendments “The Texas Plan.”

Some of the amendments in the proposal include prohibiting administrative agencies and the unelected bureaucrats from creating and preempting federal law; mandating that Congress balance its budget; allowing a two-thirds majority of the states to override a U.S. Supreme Court decision, federal law or regulation; and prohibiting Congress from regulating activity that occurs within one state’s borders.Abbott argued that Obama has abused his presidential authority, and trampled on the United States Constitution.
“If this is allowed, the United States Constitution has been completely rewritten,” Abbott said in an interview with the Examiner.
“The United States Supreme Court is a co-conspirator in tearing down our Constitution, which is exactly why I am calling for a Convention of States so we can restore the Constitution to its original principles,” he added.
Abbott argues that a convention would force the federal government to “take the Constitution seriously again.”
Abbott has already launched a groundbreaking fight against the imperial presidency with his lawsuit over Obama’s executive action to open the door to citizenship to millions of illegal aliens living in the country.
States that have joined Abbott in the lawsuit include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The Supreme Court is expected to decide the case in June.
So far, only five other states have joined the call for a constitutional convention, but with Abbott now on board, the movement will likely only get stronger. The following we Governor Abbot’s remarks recently:

Mark Levin is an American lawyer, author, and the host of American syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show. Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan and was a chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese. He is president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, has authored five books, and contributes commentary to various media outlets such as National Review Online. On September 1, 2015, Levin was named Editor-in-Chief of Conservative Review.

A tall tree and a short rope would solve many of America’s political problems.
Arrest those responsible for treason, espionage, and other nefarious crimes. Give them a speedy speedy trial and if people are found guilty of crimes against America and humanity publicly hang them in front of the state capitols, the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C., the White House, the various state Governor mansions, the U.S. Supreme Court Building, or in the middle of a town square.
Hang them all and it will probably be a long time before a dishonest person would ever care to be a politician, or a crooked federal judge again.
The problem is not the federal government structure.
The problem is the corrupt people who have seized our government offices, agencies, courts, and political parties.
It’s time to clean house of every crooked politician out there sucking like a vampire the life blood out of the American peoples necks.
Corruption is running rampant in this country because We The People have allowed it. There are more of us than there are of them, the corrupt politicians.
Constitutional sheriffs can deputize every man, woman, and child if needed to arrest these criminals.
I feel certain the same criminals committing crimes in Washington D.C. are also committing crimes in their individual states where they reside.
Most criminals are criminals anywhere the go. That includes their home states.
State crimes committed within a state falls under the local sheriff jurisdiction.
A clean sweep of American political as well as banking criminals would go a long long way in restoring America.
