A piece of spirit bread to chew and meditate on.
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” Rev.1:17-20
Here John is given a short and snappy summary of what he was to write to the Asian churches. So the book contains things of the past, things of the present and things of the future, which according to verse 1 and 3 was at hand, to happen shortly. Verse 19+20 seem to contain the key to rest of the book of Revelation.
Therefore the claim of so many that: “The Book of APOCALYPSE was specifically written to announce what would occur in “the last days”/the present era” can only be a glaring misinterpretation of what is written in the book or a flagrant LIE originating from Lucifer.
If we keep verses 19+20 in mind while reading the rest of the book, we just may be greatly surprised by what Ishuas Holy Spirit will open up to those who believe Him.
