False Teachers In The Christian Church

False Teachers In The Christian Church Are Leading People Astray

Multitudes are being led astray by these  false teachers in the Christian Church, that serve the flesh and not the Spirit. False teachers in the Christian Church have done great harm, and have corrupted the minds of many people that do not have the Holy Spirit to protect them from this darkness masquerading as light.

There are many professional manipulators of the truth, and these  false teachers in the Christian Church, have a self serving agenda, and are presently unaccountable for their deadly and deceptive doctrines. Many that claim to be Christians are merely interested in being comfortable or secure in the doctrines of these men, and their many denominations. Far too many have a false sense of reality as a result of basing their Christian security on the vain words of these false teachers in the Christian Church. The deceptive teachings of men that are devoid of the Spirit of God, prevent their followers from growing in the Lord, or even having a true knowledge of Him.

John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:  And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

false teachers in the Christian ChurchOur teacher ultimately is the Holy Spirit that Christ sent to us. Once we have the infilling of His Spirit we can know truth, and these false teachers in the Christian Church are easily recognized as such.

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Far too often, we hear this false prosperity message from the mouths of these false teachers in the Christian Church, “If you ask and believe all things will be yours” (Mat 21:22). However we ask and do not receive because we ask in the spirit of our own lusts. We have a fondness or love for the comforts of the world, and our prayers are towards health wealth and prosperity, all things that do indeed perish with the flesh.

Our greatest desires should be to receive the Comforter that enables us to understand His word of truth, and to seek first the kingdom of God (James 4:3-4; Math 6:33).

John 16:13-14 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Man is not the author of truth nor can he by himself fully understand truth. It is the Holy Spirit that shows us the truth, when we have submitted to the Lord and are in a position to receive it. If we think we have the truth by or in ourselves, we through pride have already prevented the Spirit from abiding in us. This is exactly what the false teachers in the Christian Church are counting on.

1 Cor 2:13-14 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Unfortunately too many people readily accept any thing that these false teachers in the Christian Church (which are also self proclaimed ministers of God) have to say. Unless the Holy Spirit has called them as teachers they should not be in this important position, and obviously speak with their own wisdom which is dangerous at best, and destructive at worst. There are of course men and women that are truly called to preach, but many who claim this calling are simply charlatans looking for fame and an easy buck at the expense of the gullible.

The simple believes every word but the wise considers all things (Prov 14:15; Rom 16:18).

Acts 20:28-30 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

We feel for these trusting individuals who are simply looking for direction, and the greater blame is to be placed on these false teachers in the Christian Church who lead them astray, up to a point. If one has submitted unto Jesus and is truly falling in love with the Word, the spirit will guide that individual unto the truth. Conversely if one is content to be comfortable in the teachings of man, and is merely a hearer of the word and not a doer, then the greater blame is to be placed upon that individual. We all are to fight a good fight, understand and finish the course set before us, and keep the faith.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Many claim to keep the Ten Commandments, which were part of the old law; as a result of these works they claim to know Christ and can expect to receive from Him whatever they ask (James 4:3). Nothing could be further from the truth. These verses in first John refer to the two new commandments that Christ gave us. The old law and prophets were unto Christ, who then taught us His new law. The New Law of Christ is recorded for us in the first book of Christ’s new testimony (Math 22: 36-40).The false teachers in the Christian Church, need to keep people under the bondage of Old Testament, in part to keep the tithes coming in.

To claim to be justified by the old law is actually a separation from Christ, as you are fallen from grace and not led by the spirit of truth (Gal 5:4; Gal 5:18). You will never hear this truth presented by the false teachers in the Christian Church.

Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law [be] heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

Those that think they are under the old law, or feebly attempt to follow it, after the new law in Christ is established, are not partakers of the new promise and the inheritance. Many false teachers in the Christian Church, proclaim that we are still under the Old Testament law, and falsely teach that Salvation is accomplished through a formula of words to be recited. The Word tells us the elect are sealed unto the day of redemption, this also is our time of Salvation in Christ (Eph 4:30).

Christ never spoke of keeping the Sabbath. We are under no obligation to keep or observe this as a day of rest; we are however to keep every day holy as unto the Lord. When we spend an hour a week in a building called the church, as opposed to shining the light of Jesus and becoming the church (that is the assembly of all believers) , what profit is there for us or others. There is no profit in this pretend game of playing church that so many succumb to. There is however great profit for the false teachers in the Christian Church, who have convinced their congregation that the reality of Godliness they seem to possess, is as good as it gets.

John 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

There are Many False Teachers In The Christian Church- Christ Is The One And Only True Shepherd

The body of Christ is effective when it works together as one. The church is not to be controlled by any one man, as we are to serve each other and be led by Christ alone. No individual can claim lordship over another in the Lord as we all are laborers.

No man can rightfully accept the name of a pastor when used in the context of becoming a shepherd of the church; nor should the congregation ever be asked to bring tithes to the 501c3 organization that he claims to be head of. Eighteen times in the New Testament the word shepherd is used, in a total of seventeen different verses. It is always used in the singular, except when in reference to actual sheep herders.

But these false teachers in the Christian Church, do not want you to know that there is only one verse where the word shepherd is changed to pastors as in plural (Eph 4:11). If there was to be a hierarchy in the church apart from Christ, He would have mentioned it at least once, but He does not!

For a detailed look at the word shepherd and the incorrect use of the word pastor that is inserted into Eph 4:11, click here, then scroll down to the verse, John 10:11.

John 10:11-12 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

false teachers in the Christian ChurchJesus is the one that truly cares for us (John 10:13; 1 Peter 5:7). As our Shepherd he feeds us with His Word, protects our minds with the Hope of Salvation, and guides us with the Spirit of truth. Christ clearly stated that He alone is the Good Shepherd, He knows His elect and they know Him. The one who is hired is not the shepherd, and when these false teachers in the Christian Church see destruction coming, they will flee causing the flock to become scattered.

What a fitting description of the situation today; so many men who claim to be shepherds (or pastors) are not, but are merely false teachers in the Christian Church that lead the people astray. We can teach and evangelize with the Spirit of truth through Jesus, but are never to exercise spiritual authority over others. We all are sinners and fall short of the perfection of Christ.

Luke 22:24-26 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

Christ is the head of the church and no man can legally take the title of Rabbi (that is to say Master) Father, or Shepherd. Christ is our only master and Shepherd, and we are all brethren; we are not to call any man Father on earth our Father. Remember the Lord’s prayer, “Our Father who art in Heaven” (Math 23:8,9; Eph 1:22).

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

The teaching on tithing is not a New Testament principle, although it is widely taught by the false teachers in the Christian Church today. It is widely used as a scare or guilt tactic to fund the business ventures of Christianity today, effectively allowing the gospel to become a business, and a very profitable one at that.

Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection

Not only is teaching tithing to a new covenant church deceitful, it is also harmful and instills greed and selfishness. Everything we have belongs to the Lord, to claim that 90% of what we have is for us to do with as we please, is contrary to the teachings on this subject in scripture.

2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The body of Christ, if that is even a fair description, as a result of the false teachers in the Christian Church, is generally unwilling or unable in most cases to think for themselves. They would rather listen to men that claim a god given right to have authority over them and the gospel. Those that operate in this capacity as masters as opposed to servants do not like to be questioned regarding their doctrines; and the people really just desire to hear pleasant things about a God that thinks they are wonderful.

2 Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables

The False Teachers In The Christian Church are destroying the True Gospel Message Of Christ

People still operate as if they were under the old law of bondage, by attempting to hold on to the Sabbath and tithing. Many believe that they are saved (by works) after reciting scriptures they don’t understand, that will never enter their hearts. Declaring that god wants to bless us with everything we desire to satisfy the desires of our flesh, is the new gospel presented by the false teachers in the Christian Church, and it sells. Preaching about taking up ones cross and suffering with Christ, has been replaced with a get out of dodge rapture ticket well before any of the bad stuff happens.

The teaching of man is put ahead of the words of Christ and discernment is just not there, as well most confuse the feelings of excitement they get from an entertaining experience with that of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

The majority of those who wish to become church leaders typically pursue a master’s in religious studies, ministry, divinity, or theology. They typically attend a theological seminary or college where they obtain these degrees. Some even hold doctorates in theology or ministry. After this schooling the individual is then qualified to speak on topics such as hermeneutics, literary criticism, theological anthropology and dispensationalism. People generally speaking are attracted to the wisdom of men and pay special attention to those that have doctorates in ministry. When these men use words such as hermeneutics and the like, the congregation becomes enamored with the supposed spiritual understanding and superior intellect of these leaders.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Man made institutions, governments and bureaucracies are more often than not full of trickery and deceit. Satan, who according to scripture is the god of this world, has infiltrated most of them. Do not think for a second he has not placed false teachers in the Christian Church, and apostates in schools of theology as well. The Christian believer must rely on the Holy Spirit to uncover or reveal Christ’s testimony, as His truth is spiritually discerned.

2 Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them

The evidence of the infiltration by the enemy into the church body is two fold. It shows up in the various belief systems that the clergy cling to after graduating from these so-called centers of higher learning. Then these false teachers in the Christian Church pass on these blatant lies to their congregations, that fully embraces both the teacher and the message.

Eph 4:11-14 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

This is a real warning given to the believer, let’s examine some common teachings propagated by these false teachers in the Christian Church, and compare them to the truth in the Word!

Let Those That Rule Well Be Counted Worthy Of Double Honour

1 Tim 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Much time has been invested here in the diligent study of the Word, allowing the spirit to lead, so as to reveal sound biblical truths. Most  false teachers in the Christian Church  would say that the double honor mentioned here is monetary in nature, and payable in part to them. However the true laborer has the reward of living by the very words of the gospel that they preach.

1 Cor 9:13-14 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?  Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

False teachers in the Christian ChurchThe honor is (to the best of our ability) to live according to the gospel we preach. Those who attempt to preach with worldly knowledge deceive and scatter people, thus preventing them from coming to the truth in Christ. The reward that the false teachers in the Christian Church seek after, is a monetary one, and they have no problem whatsoever in twisting scriptures to facilitate this plunder. The man who is called by God to preach truly loves the Lord and His flock. Living according to the gospel is the honor and reward for this spirit filled laborer of Christ.

1 Cor 12:18-20 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body.

God has set the members which make up the assembly, which are the church and thus the whole body. God does this and not man, and it is the institution of the school of the Holy Spirit where we are taught (properly and in truth) so we can then share these truths with others.

Also in this school none of us receive a doctorate as Christ is our physician; we know in part and are ever learning. Our graduation ceremony is when Christ returns with our diploma, and says well done faithful servant (Math 25:21).

The meaning for the word honor, that is used in double honor in first Timothy 5:17, in no way refers to money (1 Cor 12: 23; 1 Tim 1:17; 1 Peter 1:7). Likewise the reward spoken of in first Timothy 5:18, is not one of a monetary nature either.

Matt 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matt 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matt 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

We are not to turn the sharing of the gospel message into a business opportunity, and no one should profit from sharing Christ with others.

Because Of The False Teachers In The Christian Church – Christ’s True Gospel Is Hidden From Many

Since the advent of Christ’s new law, several changes were made that are not understood by the false teachers in the Christian Church or their converts.  Large glamorous building are never to be referred to as churches, as this is the title for the body of Christ. The Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands; the true believer that follows Jesus with Faith Hope and Love is where the Holy Spirit now dwells (Acts 7:48; Acts 17:24; 1Cor 3:17; 1Cor 6:19).

Gal 1:6-8 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

False teachers in the Christian Church  do usually present some truth in their sermons, however the majority of the messages they present will be based upon their own varied interpretations. Many present a message that makes their audience feel comfortable and at ease. This allows them to grow and collect more revenue while the listening audience falls deeper into a spirit of slumber and apathy.

We are not to receive the gospel of men, it can only lead us astray. We should not be impressed with men that exalt themselves before many, as they will be humbled. these enjoy the praises and loved to be called father, rabbi or pastor (Isa 2:11; Mat 23:5-12).

To get an idea of the level of pride that we are dealing with, just go to a bookstore and look up the most popular Christian authors, the entire cover of these books will be dedicated to their name and picture. Some of these  the false teachers in the Christian Church, even produce study bibles with their names on them. People spend far more time listening to men and reading their writings than they do in the word of God.

1 Cor 9:18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

false teachers in the Christian ChurchThe true man of God filled with the spirit who correctly interprets scripture has certain characteristics that set him apart. The humble servant lifts up the name of Jesus and only preaches because of a burden from the Spirit that burns in his heart. He is compelled to become a part of the battle to set the captives free. He weeps in his Spirit, for the lost and deceived that think they are saved.  Sometimes lies that are told often enough can be perceived as truth; we are at that point in time.

1 Peter 5:2-3 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

A laborer for Christ will never seek his own glory but will rather lift up others. Never will a servant try and take up a position of lordship that is reserved for Jesus alone. As well monetary gains are simply not considered, as rewards through and in Christ are the prizes sought after, that will never perish.

1 Cor 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

So many times we hear these false teachers in the Christian Church recite extravagant prayers that really impress those around them, because of the elegance and grandeur of the words. The crowd is led to believe that these men are full of the spirit, and have God given power and authority.

Matt 6:5-6 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

The doctrine of baptism is a mystery to most, but it is very simple to understand, if you have the spirit of discernment. All believers who are baptized in the Holy Spirit have this gift of discernment. This is discussed in more detail in a teaching entitled Salvation.

Luke 3:16-17 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

John 4:1-2 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,

Jesus Christ did not perform water baptism unto repentance, but rather the baptism of the Holy Spirit unto salvation; he that believes and is baptized by the Holy Spirit shall be saved (Mark 16:16; Gal 3:27; Math 24:13).

John 1:32-34 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which  baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

If there is one key aspect of the new testimony that Jesus Christ gave us that is essential to understand, it is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The word tells us that we ask but do not receive, the reason being is that most pray primarily for physical needs and wants. Our ultimate and primary goal should be to pray for the infilling of the Spirit that unlocks the wonderful mysteries of Godliness.

The revelation of who Christ is, and the knowledge to understand His word, only comes through the Spirit of wisdom. This is the only way to a personal relationship, and a committed lasting walk with Him. To know of Him is only the first step; He desires to literally dwell in us. Once this transformation takes place, Christ takes pleasure in us (Rom 8:11; Eph 3:17; Rom 8:6).

Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

False Teachers In The Christian Church – See That You Be Not Deceived

The false teachers in the Christian Church that are in the flesh, regard the things of the flesh. They are in fact blind to the truth and purpose of this life, which is in Christ. As a result of their guidance as it were, those that they teach also have a focus on material things and selfish desires. These people want a god that will accept their self righteousness and worldly pursuits and call them good and holy.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Christ.

Here is the bottom line; if you do not have Christ’s Spirit living inside of you then you are not one of His children.

Eph 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Phil 1:9-11And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;  That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;  Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Once we are filled with His Spirit we will approve (and disapprove accordingly) of the things that are right and true, whether they be actions or words. The gibberish that is passed off as truth by the charlatans who are the false teachers in the Christian Church, will be readily recognized as such.

Col 1:9-10 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The prophecies of the scripture are of no private interpretation. As the above verses point out to us, no one individual or group has control over, or final authority on the correct understanding of what is written in these books that make up the Holy Bible. This task is reserved for the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things. And yet many people hold up these false teachers in the Christian Church to a god like level, convinced that they alone are empowered with the truth and understanding of scripture.

False teachers in the Christian Church can position themselves into a self imposed exalted position by means of theatrics, a good memory and manipulation.

This allows them to be in control; few question this position of power or authority, as they are led to believe that it is God ordained.

Suggestive words and emotional conditioning through lighting, soft music and or a teary eyed plea, are some of the tactics employed to manipulate people to respond in a certain manner.

There are many other manipulative techniques used by false teachers in the Christian Church, here are a few of them:

1- Lying by omission is when you leave out some of the truth to present your truth, this is also known as propaganda.

2- Laying a guilt trip is a favorite tactic used by most professional, yet false teachers in the Christian Church today. The manipulator suggests to the audience, that already is in a state of agreeableness (who typically want to please and be accepted) that they are selfish, do not care, or are spoiled. The result is usually one where the person feels bad or unworthy, leading to self doubt. Ultimately the victim will wind up in a position of submission to the teacher, thus allowing this control to continue.

3- Note that the submission is now towards a man (usually employing these tactics for power and financial control) who does not submit to others.

4- Subtle but effective shaming or put-downs are utilized to intensify the fear of ones actions as not being acceptable; the self doubt continues or grows to the point where there is now a dependency on the teacher. This technique is widely used especially when the leader is questioned on his authority or doctrines, and when money is required. At this point the subject can be led to accept control by other means.

5- Seduction is a favorite tool of the false teachers in the Christian Church, who are professional manipulators. They use their voice, stance, confidence and image to grab the attention of a crowd and keep it. With almost a magical charm they can allure or captivate the audience with a hypnotic like manipulation of the truth. This tool can be very profitable in dealing with inter personal relationships; the seducer becomes like a drug dealer. He has what you think you need. After the magic of charm has taken hold of an individual or group, flattery can be put into practice to lower their defenses. This will usually allow the manipulator to gain trust and possibly even loyalty, which is the goal.

6- The victim mentality method is used for pity, sympathy or concern about himself personally or his organization. False teachers in the Christian Church make claims that the ministry is in trouble, and without immediate financial contributions many will suffer. People do not like to see or hear of sufferings, and if they are made to feel responsible, it is usually fairly easy to get them to cooperate.

7- The ultimate and end game of this manipulation, is one in which the false teachers in the Christian Church are seen as having the role of being God’s ordained teachers, or prophets. Once they have obtained this cult like status, people no longer even think for themselves. As well they sometimes violently protect the belief system and the leader(s) that they unwittingly worship.

False teachers in the Christian ChurchWith all the tactics above employed it is easy to masquerade using a disguising pretense, and thus cloak or hide a self-serving agenda, under the pretext of operating as the servant or spokesperson of God.

Leaders and teachers should be the most humble of men, and if truly called to be servants, and led by the Spirit they must direct all praise and adoration towards God. Likewise those being taught need to have their eyes and hearts focused on the spirit that gives man the understanding and the ability to teach truth, and not the man!

Eph 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Spiritually speaking, we are to put our trust in no man. Only Christ can be totally trusted, and He alone has the power to redeem us. This verse in Ephesians, it is a condensed version of the Christian journey unto salvation. We hear the message of truth revealed to us in the gospel that shows the path unto Salvation. Then once we trust and believe the Word we are sealed by means of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This infilling of the Spirit is a down payment on the purchased possession wherein Jesus bought us through His shed blood. The inheritance is when we are redeemed, and join Christ for all of eternity. Many hear of the word by means of a teacher or preacher, however to stay under a teacher never graduating so to speak, is not what is expected of us. Hearing the messenger, if he is truly sent by God, is only the first part in ones walk. The next step is to be taught of the Holy Spirit, and then receive the power to know the truth for yourself and partake in the ministry.

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

To be effective in the ministry, pride ego and self-centered or self-righteous behaviors should not be at all present. Christ reveals His truth to all that ask in faith and love, but we must be humble and submit to His commandments.

When one truly believes on Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit through a real faith, it is natural to obey and follow the Word and be faithful even unto death. The question remains then what are we to believe and how are we to follow? Christ said to take care that you be not deceived by men. Part of the deception is at the hands of the false teachers in the Christian Church (Math 24:4). Below we will examine just a few of the deceptions that are commonly taught today by these false teachers in the Christian Church, and compare them to the true Word of God.

Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

We are all to bear the cross with our eyes set on Jesus, thus fulfilling the mission of becoming part of the church.   The average person thinks that the Christian experience involves the following:

  • Spending an hour a week at a building that is incorrectly refereed to as a church.

  • Giving money, incorrectly referred to as tithes, to 501c3 corporations posing as the church.

  • Repeating verses that they are led to recite under the illusion that doing so will ensure their immediate salvation.

These actions have nothing to do with bearing the cross of Christ; they prove a complete lack of the Spiritual understanding and depth required to follow Christ.

2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Here we have an improper translation that is commonly taught by the false teachers in the Christian Church, but a diligent student led by the spirit will pick up on the obvious error, and easily discern the truth. At first glance it would appear that Christ was made sin for us, for our righteousness. But we will show the obvious error below.

There are two key word groups to break down here: He hath made, simply means to bear or carry, and the words (he hath) are improperly added.

Him to be sin, is actually translated simply as sin, and the words (him to be) are also improperly added. Therefore an appropriate translation is; Verily He carried or bared our sin for us, although He knew no sin…

1 John 3:4-5 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin

So Christ who was without sin was manifested to take away all sins. Remember He is, was and will always be God, totally and forever without sin. The following verses will also confirm the error (Heb 1:3; Heb 7:26-27; Heb 9:28; Heb 4:15; Rom 8:3).

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

False Teachers In The Christian Church Promote Many Deceptive Teachings!

Comparing Verses from the NASV to the KJV

  • Mark 10:24 NASV: “… ‘Children how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!’”

KJV: “.. how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!” Trusting in riches and expecting to enter into the kingdom is about as likely as a camel entering through the eye of a needle. Yes it is difficult to enter in because most live in and serve the desires of the flesh, to not trust in riches means to trust in Christ.

  • Luke 2:33 NASV: “And His father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him.”

KJV: “And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things that were spoken of him.” God is the father of Jesus Christ, not Joseph! Mary was not the mother of God; she was the mother of Jesus who took on the likeness of human flesh for our sake.

  1. Christ is-present – He is always present with the elect in the Spirit
  2. Christ was-past – He always existed
  3. Christ is to come again- future – He returns to be present in the Spirit and in person

  • Romans 1:16 NASV: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God…”

KJV: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…” The translators often leave out the name of Christ completely, without Christ, the gospel is a useless book.

  • 1 Timothy 3:16 NASV: “… He who was revealed in the flesh.”

KJV: “…God was manifest in the flesh.”  Here they attempt to take away his deity; Christ is the only true God; in the beginning was the Word that was with God, and that Word was God.

  • 1 Timothy 6:1b “… that the name of God and our doctrine may not be spoken against.”

KJV: “… that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.” The doctrine of men is taught as the truth as opposed to that of the Word of Christ; mans religion has somehow superseded God’s word, what a terrible tragedy.

  • Hebrews 1:3b NASV: “… when He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

KJV: “when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Purification of sins was done often under the old law, but the cleansing of all of our sins was accomplished through the blood of Jesus Christ!

  • John 5:16 NASV: “And for this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.”

KJV: “And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.” He came to his own the tribe of Judah, they received him not and in fact they did kill him (Acts 3:13-15).

We are to meditate on the Word of God and let His word illuminate the path that we walk (Psalm 119:105).

Repent, submit and study the Word for yourselves; ask the Spirit of truth to come upon you and correctly interpret the testimony of Christ, which is the power of God unto your Salvation (Rom1:6).

2 Tim 2:15-16 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

“False Teachers In The Christian Church – The infiltration is from within”

That would be all of them seeing as the bible is the creation of Catholicism. The word Catholic is Greek and means ‘Universal’, Catholicism means ‘Universal belief’. It is an official amalgamation of various pagan beliefs including Mithraism and Dionysus that took place in Turkey and Armenia during the 2nd century CE.

It’s corrupt from it’s core outwards contaminating all in it’s path. And just like a hereditary disease, it’s passed on from one generation to the next.
