The Second Amendment was only for militias, the leftists said. It wasn’t for modern-day citizens, they said. And then Donald J. Trump got 306 electoral votes. And suddenly, the Second Amendment became very, very real for a lot of leftists who wanted to plug their ears when it was read out to them during the eight years of the Obama administration.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
