English IRS do you speak it?

(Before It's News)

Maybe not…according to a Federal Audit of the IRS by the Treasury Department’s Inspector General, not only  the IRS fail to keep a full list of all the messages it sent to taxpayers, but about half of the messages and two-thirds of the notices the Inspector General examined where flawed.

These messages either did not provide enough information to taxpayers or where not clearly written. Yet the Treasury Inspector General found that that IRS was generally doing a good job complying with the Plain Writing Law. Yes, Congress actually passed a law requiring federal bureaucrats to communicate in plain English….and yes federal bureaucrats seem to have a problem obeying the law.

Campaign for Liberty will not back down in our battles with the IRS until the agency admits– in clear English– that they have no justification to ask for any information about any of our donors.
