Changes & Plans For White Gables

(Before It's News)

The lady at the far end of our building at White Gables got married, had her honeymoon– and now she's moving out of her townhouse and into her new husband's house. She should be finished by Monday or so, and then I'll be cleaning and fixing and painting like any manager.

Apparently, its excellent timing, because Natasha and Kalden were needing more room. Their townhouse in the middle of the building has 2 bedrooms, but very little storage and the living/kitchen area is half the size they need.

Enter that end apartment… So it appears that next week they'll be moving into new digs right next door. More space for their growing family, including tons of storage. They'll also have a little more privacy and quiet just being at the end of the building– but they'll still have that southern facing sliding glass door, giving easy access to the huge lawn, garden, the firepit/picnic area, and the chickens.

I was pretty thrilled with how things turned out, because otherwise they were going to want to turn the indoor shared storage room into another bedroom or something. IF we buy this place, we're getting an outdoor storage shed to share with tenants, and I want to turn that room into my personal office/library. There's a perfect spot for a door from our bedroom, AND it has its own door to the vestibule via a staircase– which means I can answer a doorbell without running all through the house to get to the front door. I'll confess I didn't want to give up that idea. Gerick got his den/mancave, and I'll get my office/library, and the rest of our townhouse will be FAR less cluttered as a result.

Speaking of mancaves, I'll have to post pics of Gerick's soon. He's just about finished with it. In only 2 weekends he completely transformed that room. Its becoming quite swank!

Also good news, the foundation selling this property have agreed to wait until August to expect us to attempt to buy it and they're not asking for earnest money. YAY! We now have the time we need to prepare and get all our ducks in a row to buy this property. Which means we may have a shot at it. =^)
