Given her ostensible appeal to female voters, Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton apparently had trouble filling an Ohio venue Thursday for a discussion of women’s issues.
According to Breitbart, several in attendance shared photos of the Columbus gathering taken from angles that exposed much of the room as desolate. Fox News Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry juxtaposed the media’s portrayal with reality in one contextual tweet.

Henry was praised by many social media users interested in complete coverage of campaign events.
@edhenry@HillaryClinton ..you did it again Ed. Thanks for the whole picture. — Len Veraldi (@vernaldi) September 10, 2015
Others, however, were quick to attribute ulterior motives to Henry’s enlightening photo. He did not hesitate to respond to critics personally.
actually I just showed you the empty AND full part right @SnarkyBits ? stick to #facts buddy or try

Henry was not alone in noticing the wide swath of open hardwood where Clinton supporters would otherwise have been. The Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty, for example, concluded the event was not quite the “packed house” the campaign might have preferred.

This was not the first Clinton campaign stop with a smaller-than-expected audience. As CNN noted in June, one early event expected to draw a crowd too big for the venue instead resulted in an entirely unused overflow area.
