Tthe Moon was at a full moon phase starting on the 12th of March….so that “crescent” could not have been the Moon.

If this is evening that is Venus which will pass between the Earth and the Sun on March 25th then be visible in the morning, the phase is just about right.

I have a nice telescope and I’ve seen venus like this before. i think its being eclipsed by mercury, but I may be wrong.
