Xiaomi Mi4c Scheduled To Launch On September 22, Pricing Tipped
After a bunch of speculations, Xiaomi’s Co-Founder and President Lin Bin has finally confirmed the launch date for company’s Mi4c smartphone. He confirmed September 22 as the launch date, and added that the new phone will be coming in two variants- one with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
Xiaomi Mi4c is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2015, and is expected to show up somewhere between company’s last flagship Mi4 and the affordable Mi4i. Its launch event has been scheduled for next month, but first it will be available in Chinese market, and then, will move in into other markets as well.
As far as specs are concerned, the latest beauty from Xiaomi is expected to showcase a nice set of specs with a 5-inch full-HD display, powered by Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It is said to feature ideal camera capabilities with a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and is likely to power up by a 3080mAh battery. Few days back, a retail box of alleged Xiaomi Mi4c confirmed the availability of Snapdragon 808SoC in the device!
Along with basic specs, rumors have been claiming that Xiaomi Mi4c will be the first smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer to feature USB-Type C connectivity, version 3.0. The device will be running MIUI ROM for sure but whether it will be the latest iteration of MIUI or an older version, there is no clue at all!
A lot has been going for price too, but according to recent report from Xiaomi, the new Mi4c with 16GB will be coming at a starting price of CNY 1499 (roughly 15,500), while the 32GB version will be hitting the shelves at higher price tag.
Few days back, company’s Brand Marketing Director posted an image of Chinese Yuan Notes in Hand, with a Chinese caption that said, “In next few weeks, Xiaomi will be bringing some big surprises which will solve life’s most important question.” The post clearly suggests that the company has something big up its sleeves, but as of now, there is no clue of what’s coming. Maybe, it can be a price cut on some popular devices or launch of new smartphones!
