Lava, India’s famous smartphone manufacturer has upgraded its product portfolio with entry-level smartphone launches. The company has unleashed Lava A76 and A72 budget 4G phones priced at Rs. 6,499 and Rs. 5,499. The two beauties pack an enticing set of specs, and will soon be joined by another 4G handset, A89 in coming weeks.

As for specs, Lava A76 and A89 sport a 4.5-inch display, while A72 bear a 5-inch display, promising crisp and vibrant visuals. All three devices create an ideal ecosystem for seamless work and play and utilize a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz, with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage. They all support expandability via microSD card!
Despite giving the most recent Android 5.1 Lollipop on all three models, Lava has promised Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade for A72 and A76 in future. Keeping this aside, other tweaks in the new entry-level range include:

The company has given special attention to the software of these phones, and has added a slew of features such as, smart screen gestures, video picture-in-picture mode, and smart-music that enables you to play music even when the smartphone is switched off. Other nifty additions include things like, auto-recording, flip to mute, and LED flash indicator for call highlighting an incoming call.
