Video – Quick Spin: Audi S8 Review
Recently, The Smoking Tire was invited to Audi’s new S-line Launch up in Malibu. They fed us delicious food, discussed the technical intricacies of their new cars, the S6, S7, and S8, and offered us a bit of seat time. And by “a bit,” I mean a very little bit. We were given 2 hours exactly in each car. Now, realize that for a standard Smoking Tire film, call it the BMW 1M vs. Porsche Cayman R, it takes 1 hour per minute of finished video, or approximately 10 hours of filming to make that video. Here, we only had 2 hours, and no camera vehicle. So, this video is short, and for that we are sorry. But we still wanted to tell you everything you need to know about the new Audi S8, and in the next few days, the S6 and S7 as well. Hit the jump for the video.
