(Before It's News)

This article is in response to a comment made on a wall post of mine wherein it was stated that this person believed that current events dovetail with Biblical prophecy.  After giving this matter some thought, I felt that my response to that post was important enough to share with everyone.

Yes, I do follow Biblical prophecy, and here is how I see the fundamental transformation of America taking place as prophesied in the Bible.  What I am about to say will, no doubt, make a great many people angry and upset.  The Founding Fathers were well versed in the political histories of nations.  They knew that nations rise and nations fall, and they understood that the underlying causes of collapse were always decay and corruption.

In 1821, then President John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, warned that if America changed its focus from “liberty to force” then “She might become the dictatress of the world.” From the founding of this great nation until the days of John Quincy Adams, America had always followed “The Great Rule” as set forth by George Washington, which was to have no political connection with the rest of the world.  (See George Washington’s Farewell Address).  John Quincy Adams restated The Great Rule this way:  America “goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy.”  The reason for this rule was simple–to break it would fundamentally change America:

“She [America] well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom. The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force.”

Following the preemptive invasion and war with Iraq, where the United States exercised nothing but force on a nation that had not attacked us, it is clear that we have become the monster we once set out to destroy.  This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened.  We need look no further than the Bible itself to see how God set up the nation of Israel as one of the richest, most powerful nations in the known world only to see it collapse in moral decay.  The Founding Fathers were not ignorant of this and other similar tragedies.

You may recall that the US Constitutional Convention was convened following our victory in the Revolutionary War. The key players in the Convention were George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison.  Contrary to popular misconception, Thomas Jefferson was not present at the Convention.  While the Great George Washington is known as the Father of our Country, James Madison is known as the Father of the Constitution.  He was the architect behind the Constitution and took copious notes on the debates.  It is the only recorded first-hand account of those debates as the proceedings of the Convention were not open to the public.

Although most of what happened during that Convention is lost to history for one reason or another, Madison’s notes survived and give us a glimpse into those proceedings.  There is an important part of the debate that few people know about in his notes that I would like to focus on for a moment.  It dealt with the question of paper money–whether or not Congress should have the power to print paper money.  Two entries are of particular importance in Madison’s notes.  Since we have been living under the curse of a paper currency for the last 120 years, it is normal for us.  However, this was not the case for the first 120 years.

The first is a notation in Madison’s notes about paper currency centered around the remarks of a Delegate Read from Delaware.  Madison writes that Delegate Read got up and said that if we allow Congress to have the power to print paper money it will be analogous to “the Mark of the Beast”.  He was obviously referring to the Beast with seven heads and ten horns written about in Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation.  Madison does not mock Delegate Read for his statement as some today would be prone to do.  He merely records it as it was spoken implying to me that he did not necessarily disagree with the statement.  The next important entry follows the close of the debate on this subject.  Madison records that the power to grant Congress the ability to print paper money in the Constitution was voted down and as such the Congress would not have the power to print paper money.

This was solid, well-established law for nearly one hundred years before it was brought up again during the Civil War.  Madison referred to paper money as “a pestilence” (Madison, Federalist Papers Letter 44) and that “a rage for paper money” was “improper and wicked.”  (Madison, Federalist Papers Letter 10.)  After the start of the Civil War, when presenting its case to the US Supreme Court, the government even acknowledged that Congress did not have the power to print paper money.  The government’s position was, however, if the Court didn’t authorize the power to print paper money the Union would be lost.

The Court bought the argument and allowed it as a limited emergency power only.  Of course, after the war ended in the late 1880’s, the case was brought once more before the Supreme Court.  This time, however, the argument was made that Congress had the implied power to print paper money, since the Court said it had the power to print paper money during the Civil War as an emergency power.  Known as the Greenback cases, the Court also bought into this second argument and decided that Congress could keep on printing paper money even though Madison and the Convention clearly stated otherwise.

As an aside, it is interesting to note that the dissent in the second Greenback case warned that granting this dangerous power to the Congress would result in economic depressions, weaken the nation, and open the way for opportunists and wars.

It has always fascinated me that these usurpers of the Constitution used the image of Washington on the face of the dollar, when in fact Washington himself is on record many times as saying that paper currencies were “an evil” and “a pestilence.”  He wrote many letters to friends and colleagues decrying the dangers of a paper currency.  He never changed that position until the day of his death.

Following extensive and detailed study of history, the Constitution and the Bible, it is clear that Delegate Read had it right all along.   Congress has authorized the printing of paper money unconstitutionally, and it has become the Mark of the Beast.  Let me explain.

We know several things about the Beast from the Book of Revelation:

1.  The Beast is clearly the only superpower during his reign, since the scripture says that no one can wage a successful war against him—“Who is like unto the beast?  Who is able to make war with him?” (Rev. 13:4)  Who can deny the fact that the United States is the most powerful nation on the earth and that no one can wage a successful war against it?

2.  Next, the scripture states that when the Beast rises to power it will not be a nation coming out of Europe or Asia.  It will come from afar as the world sees it rise to power across the ocean.– “I . . . saw a beast rise up out of the sea.” (Rev. 13:1).  Prior to World War II, we did not have the prominence that we do now.  We rose to power up out of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans for all the world to see following World War II.

3.  Next, we learn that the Beast does not act alone but relies on two groups of nations—“I . . . saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns.” (Rev. 13:1).  We will discuss these two groups a little later.

4.  Another important fact about the Beast is that his power is based in economic as well as military.  In Chapters 17 and 18, we learn that the Beast supports the Mother of Harlots (i.e., the woman, also known as the Mother of Harlots “sit[s] upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”Rev 17:3)  The Beast supports the Harlot with its economic  system as evidenced from the details in Chapter 18.  After the fall of the Beast and the Harlot, the only groups of people bemoaning their collapse are the merchants:  “The merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies . . . The merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: . . . The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing.”

For nearly 50 years, the US paper dollar has been the reserve currency of the world to which all others were tied meaning no one has been able to buy or sell commodities without using the unconstitutional US paper dollar.  Just as the scripture states, “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast.”  (Rev. 13:17)  This is where it gets interesting.

Most people have probably heard about the two groups the US uses to implement its policies but few understand them or have recognized them .  All of the US economic policies are implemented in the world through the workings of the G-7 and the G-10.  These are the seven and ten most industrialized nations of whom the US is part that meet annually to follow and implement US economic policy as based upon the US dollar.

The G-7 group includes the US, Canada, Spain, France,  Germany, Japan, and England.  Interestingly enough, the G-7 only had seven nations up until the Berlin wall fell and Russia applied severe pressure on the group to allow Russia to join.  After this, the G-7 became known as the G-8.  Even the Book of Revelation accounts for this anomaly.   “And here is the mind which hath wisdom.  The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth.  And there are seven kings: . . . and the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven and goeth into perdition.”  (Rev. 17: 9-11)  At first there were seven, then there were 8.  The G-7 operated as a group of seven nations until the Soviet Union fell and then there were eight and it became known as the G-8.  Just as an aside, the G-10 is a different group of 10 nations who actually implement the policies of the G-8.

Next, we learn that no one can use any other form of money to buy or sell but the Beast’s mark—“.  . . No man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.” (Rev. 13:17)  We mentioned this earlier, but it is important enough to repeat once more.  The entire world has been buying and selling merchandise using the dollar as the reserve currency for the last 50 years.

By way of further explanation, the scripture clarifies that the mark of the beast is the number of a man and that the number is Six hundred threescore and six—not 666–Six hundred Sixty and Six. This distinction is important as you will see—“Here is wisdom, Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Rev. 13:18).  Nowhere does he say 666.  That is the Arabic way of writing Six Hundred Three Score and Six, but John lived under the influence of the Roman Empire and its writing system.

This clarification is critical in understanding the meaning of this verse of scripture.  Think Roman influence when understanding Six Hundred Sixty and Six.  Also, remember that the scripture clearly says that it is the number of a man.  Look at the US dollar.  The man–George Washington is on the face of the dollar bill, even though it shouldn’t  be given how he felt about paper currency.  The evil men who concocted the paper currency used Washington’s image to give credence to and validation for their unconstitutional paper dollar.  George Washington would never have consented to such a thing.

Next, look at his name and the two letters beside it—Washington, DC.  Since John clearly was subject to Roman influence and given the fact that the back of the dollar also uses Roman letters, it is extremely reasonable to suppose that the “DC” that is always written next to Washington’s name on the dollar bill would have been viewed by the writer of the Book of Revelation as a Roman Number–Six Hundred.  That was John’s frame of reference and it stands to reason that he was seeing it as such.  He does say, it takes one with “understanding” to see it.

Finally, it is important to note that Washington retired from public life at the end of his 66th year.  So his number as seen by John would have been Six Hundred Three Score and Six or DC (600) and Sixty-six the end of his public life.

The next thing we learn about the Beast is that no one is allowed to challenge the status of the Beast.  In fact, the scripture says, anyone who does will be killed—“. . . as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”  (Rev. 13:15).  We’ve seen what happens when various individuals or nations try to challenge us.  Nations are now preemptively invaded as was the case with Iraq or attacked without attacking us as was the most recent case with Libya and people are taken from power and killed just as with Muammar Gaddafi.

Next, we learn exactly how powerful the Beast really is, since he can call down fire out of heaven for all the world to see—“and he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of all men.” (Rev. 13:13). Who can doubt the veracity of this prophecy?  What person is there on the earth who has not seen the fire that dropped from the sky over Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the ensuing fiery mushroom cloud?  Who does not recognize the power of that image and the ensuing fear that it causes everyone who sees it?

Next, we learn about the “false prophet” which some refer to as the Anti-Christ spoken of in 1 John 2:18.  This individual leads us “into captivity” and “deceiveth them that dwell on the earth.”  (Rev. 13:12-14)  Who cannot see that this person could easily be the man who sits in the Oval Office today?  He is a liar.  He deceived the entire nation with his false promises about the debt and civil liberties.  It is highly doubtful that he will step down from power in 2016.  He will most likely create another huge deception to justify having to stay in office, and the people will not recognize his continued deceptions.

Finally, we learn of the drastic demise of the Beast and the false prophet—“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.  These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”  (Rev. 19:19-20).

This transformation of our great nation into the Beast, I believe, can be halted because God himself says many times in the Bible, if men will repent, then the judgments predicted can be halted.  I believe this to be the case for America.  If enough people rise up and fight the evil powers that are setting these things in motion, we can change the future.  We need to take back our country and put the Constitution back into its proper place.  Even if we do not take back our country, however, I still believe that Christ will come and reestablish His righteous control over this nation.
