Latest News on Government’s Preparing For Civil War or Martial Law (Videos)
Despite the ridiculous narratives being spun by mainstream media and the lies we hear from corrupt Washington politicians, the United States is currently a nation on life support. Our country is so weak and vulnerable from so many different perspectives, there is no way this post could detail all of them, nor is that my intent. There will however be dozens of supporting links throughout as well as at the end, each of which includes dozens of supporting links within it. As you’ll learn very fast, none of this is a joke.
The purpose of this post is to affirm what President Obama said on May 31, 2016 when he delivered an address at the FEMA National Response Coordination Center in Washington, where he made a point to stress that Americans who are not preparing for disaster, or who do not have emergency evacuation plans for any given scenario, could find themselves in big trouble in the near future.
Some of the scenarios mainstream experts suggested Americans should be preparing for are: A west coast earthquake, a New Madrid earthquake, a tsunami on either the east or west coasts, a meteor impact, Islamic terror, war, an EMP burst that takes down the power grid, cyberwarfare, economic collapse or civil unrest resulting in the imposition of Martial Law. If only that were all. We’re also supposed to be on alert for the possibility of a major volcanic eruption, or the possibility of a “natural” OR “engineered” pandemic. The following excerpt from Obama’s speech comes directly from the official White House website…
“One of the things that we have learned over the course of the last seven and a half years is that government plays a vital role, but it is every citizen’s responsibility to be prepared for a disaster. And that means taking proactive steps, like having an evacuation plan, having a fully stocked disaster supply kit. If your local authorities ask you to evacuate, you have to do it. DO NOT WAIT!”
Despite the warning directly from Obama, most Americans continue to remain willfully ignorant about the very real possibility of a “major emergency,” which is grounds for the president to declare Martial Law.
Regardless of what the naysayers think about the possibility of Martial Law, as you’ll see below it’s very clear that both the Pentagon and the federal government believe Martial Law is possible based on their level of preparations made for it. Therefore, before you rush to judgment about Martial Law being “conspiracy nonsense,” I would ask what is it that you ’think’ you know, that is more credible than what the federal government knows?
Arguably the two most likely scenarios that would lead to a “state of emergency,” are civil unrest resulting in the imposition of Martial Law, or economic collapse. I’ve made the case in plenty of links at the bottom how this election could easily stir the requisite level of civil unrest to force the government’s hand, but whether that happens or not, the pink elephant in the room no one can run from is the looming economic collapse.

OBAMA’S INTENTION TO USE THE MILITARY ON AMERICANS DATES BACK AT LEAST TO 2010:
In 2014, The Washington Times reported on a 2010 Obama administration memo that was leaked that detailed the Obama administration’s potential use of military force against Americans. The directive contains noncontroversial provisions on support to civilian fire and emergency services, special events and the domestic use of the Army Corps of Engineers. The troubling aspect of the directive outlines presidential authority for the use of military arms and forces, including unarmed drones, in operations against domestic unrest.
“This appears to be the latest step in the administration’s decision to use force within the United States against its citizens,” said a defense official opposed to the directive.
Directive No. 3025.18, “Defense Support of Civil Authorities,” was issued Dec. 29, 2010, and states that U.S. commanders “are provided emergency authority under this directive.”
“Federal military forces shall not be used to quell civil disturbances unless specifically authorized by the president in accordance with applicable law or permitted under emergency authority,” the directive states.
“In these circumstances, those federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the president is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances” under two conditions.

The conditions include military support needed “to prevent significant loss of life or wanton destruction of property and are necessary to restore governmental function and public order.” A second use is when federal, state and local authorities “are unable or decline to provide adequate protection for federal property or federal governmental functions.”
“Federal action, including the use of federal military forces, is authorized when necessary to protect the federal property or functions,” the directive states.
Military assistance can include loans of arms, ammunition, vessels and aircraft. The directive states clearly that it is for engaging civilians during times of unrest.

WHAT RECENT DEVELOPMENTS HAVE TAKEN PLACE:
In the wake of Ferguson, pictures of police in riot gear and driving armored vehicles toward peaceful protesters sparked a national debate that drew attention to a program (known as the 1033 Program), which allowed the U.S. military to unload its excess equipment on local police.
As a result of the uproar, Obama signed Executive Order 13688 in May 2015, banning the transfer of certain military equipment between armed forces and police departments. This included such items as tracked armored vehicles, weaponized vehicles, grenade launchers, and camouflage uniforms… until about 2 weeks ago…
AN ACLU REPORT ABOUT THE SEVERAL HUNDRED MRAPS FROM PROGRAM 1033 SAYS:
In 2013, the Department of Defense started giving away MRAPs through the 1033 Program. According to the Department of Defense, MRAPs are designed to protect occupants against armor-piercing roadside bombs. In 2007, the United States spent $50 billion to produce 27,000 MRAPs and deploy them to Iraq and Afghanistan.No longer needed overseas, MRAPs have made their way into local communities.
Because the ACLU launched this investigation in early 2013 and requested records only from 2011-2012, we did not ask the jurisdictions studied to send documentation of MRAP requests, so it is not possible to know from this investigation how many towns have acquired such vehicles through the 1033 Program. Media accounts put the number at around 500.

In the following video from 2013, Bobby Powell explains that using only secondary roads, and traveling only at night, truckers from more than a dozen truck convoys made their way from the west coast to Camp Grayling in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, where they unloaded their cargo: More than 100 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles – MRAPs.
This information was first brought to the attention of The Truth Is Viral by a high-ranking officer in Michigan’s Law Enforcement community, so its provenance is impeccable. This officer introduced TTiV Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Bobby Powell to a truck driver, a mutual friend, with direct knowledge of these convoys.
According to the truck driver interviewed in this episode of The Truth Is Viral, the MRAPs delivered to Camp Grayling – long suspected of being a major FEMA camp – were clearly marked with United Nations insignia.

July 21st, Reuters reported:
Jim Pasco, executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police, and Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations were among eight police organization chiefs who met with Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House on July 11. That was three days after a shooter targeted and killed five police officers in Dallas.
Following the meeting, three officers were killed in Baton Rouge on July 17.

Pasco especially has become a high-profile advocate for unleashing the police from restraints and oversight since the emergence of the Black Lives Matter movement. As the Washington Post noted last year, he wants to make it illegal for citizens to record police activity on their cell phones.

July 26th, Reason.com reported:
“Police departments have been using military equipment to carry out day-to-day operations,” she says. “As we saw with the protests in Ferguson and Baton Rouge, a militarized response only escalates tensions and threatens public safety.”
When protesters marched in Baton Rouge earlier this month to protest the killing by police of Alton Sterling, more than 100 people were arrested despite the fact that they were demonstrating peacefully. Video footage shows officers, decked out in riot gear and holding rifles, pushing protesters onto private property before handcuffing them.
The ACLU released a report in June 2014 detailing the excessive militarization of police departments. The organization notes that this phenomenon tends to disproportionately affect minority communities and undermines civil liberties.

THE “1033 PROGRAM,” DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SUPPORT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT CONGRESSIONAL SUMMARY:
The United States has traditionally kept military action and civil law enforcement apart, codifying that separation in the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878. On the other hand, Congress has occasionally authorized the Department of Defense (DOD) to undertake actions specifically intended to enhance the effectiveness of domestic law enforcement through direct or material support.
One such effort is the so-called “1033 Program,” named for the section of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 1997 that granted permanent authority to the Secretary of Defense to transfer defense material to federal and state agencies for use in law enforcement, particularly those associated with counter-drug and counter-terrorism activities.
The 1997 act was preceded by 1988 legislation that expanded DOD’s role in the interdiction of illicit drug trafficking. That was soon followed by temporary authority to transfer excess defense material, including small arms and ammunition, from excess DOD stocks to law enforcement agencies for use in counter-drug activities. This could be done at no cost to the receiving agency. The 1997 NDAA expanded that authority to include counter-terrorism activities and made it permanent. It is codified as 10 U.S.C. §2576a.

– All 50 states and Washington DC fail to comply with international law and standards on the use of lethal force by law enforcement officers;
– Nine states and Washington DC currently have no laws on use of lethal force by law enforcement officers; and
– Thirteen states have laws that do not even comply with the lower standards set by US constitutional law on use of lethal force by law enforcement officers.
Across the country, heavily armed Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams are forcing their way into people’s homes in the middle of the night, often deploying explosive devices such as flashbang grenades to temporarily blind and deafen residents, simply to serve a search warrant on the suspicion that someone may be in possession of a small amount of drugs.
Neighborhoods are not war zones, and our police officers should not be treating us like wartime enemies. However, the ACLU encountered this type of story over and over when studying the militarization of state and local law enforcement agencies.
SWAT deployments often and unnecessarily entailed the use of violent tactics and equipment, including APCs; use of violent tactics and equipment was shown to increase the risk of bodily harm and property damage.

In the video below, you’ll see what appears to be a Washington state deputy sheriff explaining that armored vehicles are needed by police departments to confront “Constitutionalists” with firearms. According to Infowars’ Mikael Thalen, the footage was shot in Spokane Valley, Washington, a community that sits between Spokane and the Idaho state line.
Thalen said a local resident asked two deputies why vehicles designed for combat in places like Iraq and Afghanistan would be needed. The deputy responded by saying there are “a lot of constitutionalists and a lot of people that stockpile weapons, lots of ammunition.”
“They have weapons here locally,” the deputy added. Thalen said the shocking admission indicates that law-abiding gun owners who support the Constitution are under surveillance by local authorities and it solidifies concerns by many that conservatives are being targeted by law enforcement agencies.

OBAMA’S OWN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE MANUAL DEFINES A “DOMESTIC EXTREMIST AS:
“Americans who are ‘reverent of individual liberty,’ and ‘suspicious of centralized federal authority’ are possible ‘extreme right-wing’ terrorists.
The document linked above also lists people who embrace “individual liberties” and honor “states’ rights,” among other characteristics, as potential “extremists” who are likely to be members of “hate groups.”
Finally, the document goes on to call the Founding Fathers, “extremists.”

In the video, Congressman Gohmert explains how he learned about certain groups within various federal agencies that were training with weapons he found to be very disturbing (see the list above), so he began inquiring as to what was going on. Even though Congressman Gohmert was one of the Congressman who chaired DHS’s oversight committee, officials within DHS refused to answer his questions.

The law allows the President to declare a “public emergency” at his own discretion, and place federal troops anywhere throughout the United States. Under this law, the President also now has the authority to federalize National Guard troops without the consent of Governors, in order to restore “public order.”
The President can now deploy federal troops to U.S. cities, at will, which eliminates the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act.
