ValueFirst Messaging Changes Its Name To ValueFirst Digital
Valuefirst Messaging, the Indian Digital company which recently acquired mobile marketing firm mGinger has changed its name to ValueFirst Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. Valuefirst had also acquired Way2SMS and 160By2, both of which are online SMS giants. The name change is part of a larger effort to rebrand the company and thus allow it it be seen as digital media company rather than just a messaging company.
Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Vish Bajaj spoke about the rebranding saying,
“The company’s technology and its product portfolio had evolved in response to the customer requirements and our new name now mirrors the expanded business and market segment in which the company now operates. The company is powering billions of digital interactions every month and the new name embraces its new stature and positioning.”
Valuefirst claims that its ventures operate in every possible aspect of digital media like SMS, Voice, E-mail and Internet which makes it the fastest growing digital media company. Furthermore, the company says that it has over 50 million registered users and is adding 40,000 of them everyday. If this is true than this company is indeed growing very rapidly.
Kumar Apoorv, CEO, ValueFirst spoke about the name change and the overall vision.
“The name promotes the strong Digital Media background and technology expertise of our company. This new company name reflects our positioning and is a reflection of the company’s refined and enhanced business strategy, he added.The new name of the company will provide the company with a fresh new corporate image and identity which will benefit the company and is in the interests of the company and the shareholders as a whole.”
Valuefirst’s recent acquisitions have mostly been mobile and we will wait and see how they make the most of them, in addition to their other businesses.
