Lava Pixel V1 set to be launched as the Next Gen Android One Smartphone
After a long wait, the next generation of Android One smartphones is set to hit the Indian market with some powerful features and alluring design language. Renowned smartphone manufacturer Lava will bring the earliest member of the series, Pixel V1 with upgraded mid-range features and crafty metal design.
The specifications and images of upcoming Lava Pixel V1 are already listed on popular smartphone website, mysmartprice.com. It will be company’s first android one smartphone, and is expected to be a whole lot better than previous generations from Karbonn, Spice and Micromax.
According to the listing, the newest Android One smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, and will be powering up by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at a frequency of 1.3 GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The rear camera of this device will be a 13MP shooter, while front-facing snapper will feature 5-megapixel sensor with 4-element lens to take brilliant selfies and interpolate images up to 8MP resolution under different lighting conditions. In terms built-in memory, it will feature 32 gigs of on-board storage, and will give enough room for keeping a rich collection of media files and apps.
It will be running the latest iteration of Android, probably Android 5.1.1, and will be backed by a long-lasting battery of 2650mAh. The entire package of specs appears a whole lot worthy, but Mysmartprice listing suggests the best expected price as Rs. 11,349.
Lava has sent out media invites hinting the launch of next-gen Android One smartphone. The invite didn’t highlighted much except, ‘Witness the power of 1’ and a message saying, “The One that will never grow old, respect your privacy, will keep you powered longer, and will help you create memories.” As of now, we all expect to see the latest Android One phone, but still nothing is confirmed officially.
In addition to this, Lava has also been running #perfectmatch campaign on social media. It has been claiming to launch, “some things perfectly in sync” for its customers all across the country. Whether it’s the Android One smartphone or company’s own mid-range beauty, we’ll definitely get a power-packed smartphone that would definitely fit in the budget segment of 2015.
