Renowned smartphone manufacturer ZTE launched two new products under its ‘Axon’ brand, Axon Lux smartphone and Axon watch. Both products feature a great set of specs, but as of now, ZTE has not revealed when they’ll be hitting the Chinese as well as global market. The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders via company’s official online store and another online retail store, JD.com.
In terms of specs, the ZTE Axon Lux smartphone features a great package for power users. It runs MiFavour 3.2 UI based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, and sports a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Continuous Grain Silicon (CGS) display with 2.5D glass technology. The newly launched Corning Microbial Glass protects the display of this device, and gives a phenomenal viewing experience from angles.
ZTE Axon Lux has been powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset, clubbed with 4 gigs of RAM and Adreno 430 graphics. It’s offers top-notch performance, and serves as a perfect companion for photography enthusiasts with its 13-mgeapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing snapper with 88 degree wide angle lens. The dual-lens setup packed with this device is really beneficial, and 128 gigs of built-in storage, expandable further by 128 GB adds a whole lot more to the efficiency of this device.
On the connectivity front, ZTE Axon Lux features standard support with a rich set of options such as, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, and microUSB. It also packs a 3.5mm audio jack for ecstatic music experiences, comes bundled with a bunch of sensors including, proximity sensor, accelerometer, magneto meter, ambient light sensor, and hall sensors. Added to this, a 3000mAh battery is also packed inside this phone to hold sufficient amount of charge throughout the day.
The ZTE Axon Watch, on the other hand, sports a 1.4-inch display protected by Gorilla glass and Sapphire coating. It comes with IP67 certification, and has been powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset, clubbed with 512MB of RAM. The power packed watch has been equipped with 4GB of built-in storage, 300mAh battery, and Bluetooth v4 connectivity. Just like Axon Lux, it also comes with a bunch of sensors, and gives top-grade performance from all aspects. The weight of this watch is barely 49 grams, and ZTE might also unveil its global variant running Android wear in near future!
