Intex Aqua 4G Star launched in India at Rs. 7,299
India’s popular tech giant, Intex has been expanding its range of LTE devices with some powerful and alluring phones. Recently, the company launched Aqua 4G+ and Aqua Trend smartphones with a nice set of specs, and now, it has further expanded its 4G family with Cloud 4G Star, available at an enticing price tag of Rs. 7,299. The device packs brilliant specifications, and will be hitting the shelves exclusively via Flipkart from Wednesday.
In terms of specs, Intex Aqua 4G star looks like a perfect fit to take on the likes of Moto E (Gen 2), Redmi 2, Canvas Xpress 2, and other budget phones rolling in the market. It’s one of the finest smartphone below 10k, and packs a 5-inch HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 proessor clocked at a speed 1.3GHz, clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out-of-the box and packs 16GB of built-in storage, which support further expandability up to 32 gigs via microSD card.
The rear camera of Aqua 4G Star is a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash, while the front-facing snapper features a 5-megapixel sensor capable of taking brilliant selfies. Whether it’s a daylight shot, HDR shot, or panorama image, Aqua 4G Star promises to produce prolific images without any glitches or issues.
On the connectivity front, Aqua 4G star offers dual-sim support with options like, 3G HSPA+, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. It measures 140x71x9.45mm and weighs just around 136 grams on paper, and is perfectly backed by a long-lasting battery of 2300mAh. According to the company, it can certainly give 8 hours of talk time and 210 hours of standby time on routine usage. On whole, the device looks fairly well built, and will be available for purchase in Black and Champagne color avatars.
At the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, the Mobile Business Head of Intel Technologies highlighted the powerful 4G capabilities of Aqua 4G star and commented, “We are happy to launch this feature laden 4G phone with a robust build quality on India’s largest e-commerce portal Flipkart and are confident that this exclusive association will offer consumers the best-in-class 4G enabled smartphone in the online space.”
