According to reports, the “unhackable, waterproof, and unbreakable” Turing phone is finally hitting the shelves from December 18. Earlier, the pre-orders service for the device kicked off from July 31st, and now, it will be shipping across markets in Pharaoh, Beowolf, and Cardinal colors. The secure smartphone packs an incredible set of specs, and will be coming in three storage variants with 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB of internal memory. The 16GB variant has been priced at $610 (approximately Rs. 39,000), 64GB at $740 (approximately Rs. 47,300), and 128GB at $870 (approximately Rs. 55,700) respectively.
The securest smartphone on the planet has been developed by Turing Robotic Industries, and has no micro-USB port or external headphone jack. It features end-to-end encryption even in core apps, and is simply unhackable by all means. Even in terms of strength, the device stays right on the mark with a material dubbed as liquidmorphium. It’s a hell lot stronger than other materials, and is completely waterproof with nano-coating on the inside. On whole, Turing phone looks pretty appealing, and boasts immense amount of strength for regular and rugged users.
In terms of specs, Turing phone features decent capabilities with a 5.5-inch HD display, powered by a Snapdragon 801 chip with four cores clocked at 2.5GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the box with Turning Aemaeth UI on the top, and boasts an ideal camera setup with a 13-megapixel rear autofocus shooter with two-toned flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper.
On the connectivity front, the handset packs decent support with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, A-GPS, 3G HSPA+, and NFC options. It also bears a fingerprint scanner for biometric security, and offers enhanced user experience with a bunch of sensors including, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, proximity, and ambient light sensor. The battery of this device features a capacity of 3000mAh, and looks good enough to hold sufficient amount of juice throughout the day.
The materials used in Turing phone have been used iPhone 6 in small quantities, but this phone will me something different, something more than ordinary. Even if water gets inside this handset, it will not get affected, and will be ready to use just with a shake of hand.
