A new high-end smartphone Lenovo Lemon X has been surfaced in a press render on Twitter by tipster @upleaks. The device looks simply stunning, and is said to be company’s first product designed by Motorola. For the uninitiated, the Google-owned company was acquired by Lenovo last year, and has played significant part in enhancing its domination in the global smartphone market. The surfaced smartphone looks partially inspired from Motorola’s design language, and resembles to the recently leaked Vibe 3X featured in TENAA listing.
Not long before, we heard from a representative from Lenovo that the designing, development and manufacturing of company’s smartphone products will be handled by Motorola, while the overall mobile business will be driven by Mobile Business Group itself. Well now, the leaked Lenovo Lemon X with a bunch of design elements from Motorola clearly confirms this statement.
Just like Moto X and Nexus 6, the back-panel of Lenovo Lemon X highlights a metal frame with antenna bands on the top and bottom edges, but on the other side nothing comes from Motorola. Instead on-screen buttons, the device features three capacitive buttons for triggering different functionalities- Home, Back and Multi-Window. The dual front-speakers also look tweaked with individual machine-holed design and probably Dolby ATMOS technology as seen on its rear panel.
The alleged Lenovo Lemon X resembles more to the recently leaked Vibe 3X smartphone on TENAA. The listing features model number Lenovo X3c50 but surprisingly with no Dolby branding. The upcoming Vibe 3X has also been speculated to feature dual front-facing speakers. As per the listing, the device measures 154×76.4×9.4mm, weighs around 175 grams, and boasts an ideal camera setup with a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. Other specifications of the handset are still unconfirmed, but looks like we’ll be hearing more of this phone in next few weeks.
In addition to this, the Chinese tech-giant also announced the launch date of its photography focused Vibe Shot smartphone for Indian buyers. The device was launched globally at MWC 2015 Trade show, and will be unveiled in India on September 22, Tuesday. As the name suggests, the major highlight of Vibe Shot is its prolific 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel secondary camera with OIS and a triple LED flash.
