40% of people feel “Swallow decreased” all around in Japan

According to Japan wild bird association, 39% of the citizens all around in Japan think swallows decreased in these 10 years.
The association conducted the survey on their website etc, 8,400 people answered the question.
29% of the people answered it didn’t change / not sure, but it was only 3% to answer it increased.
They presume it is due to the increasing crows but no survey was done to see if crows really increased.

Selon la société ornithologique japonaise (Japan wild bird association), 39 % des gens de tout le Japon pensent que les hirondelles ont régressé ces dix dernières années.
L’association a mené cette étude sur son site web, etc. 8 400 personnes y ont répondu.
29 % des gens disent ne pas avoir remarqué de changement mais seulement 3 % ont répondu que ça augmentait.
Ils supposent que c’est à cause de l’augmentation du nombre de corbeaux mais aucune étude n’a été faite pour regarder si le nombre de corbeaux augmente réellement.
