Micromax to unveil a new budget smartphone; Holding Open Sale for Canvas Spark
Popular smartphone manufacturer Micromax is set to unveil its next budget beauty on July 27 at an event in New Delhi. The company has sent out invites for the event, but there is very less information about the product making its way. Recently, a Micromax spokesperson confirmed the launch of a new budget smartphone. He did not shared pricing details of the new phone, but made very clear that Micromax will launch a powerful smartphone at a very competitive price tag.
The invite sent reads out, “Micromax introduces a new level of multitasking with Vineet taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics.” Apart from this, the invite doesn’t reveals anything about the new phone making its way. Micromax recently launched a Facebook teaser highlighting that its upcoming smartphone will offer smooth multi-tasking, and will hit the shelves exclusively via Flipkart.
Few days back, Micromax’s spin off company Yu Televentures launched Yureka Plus with an improved full HD display and Cyanogen OS 12 for Rs. 9,999. The company has been moving at a great pace, and now its new budget phone is also set to make its way real soon.
Along with new product launch, Micromax has also announced a two-day open sale for it’s another budget smartphone, Canvas Spark. Following the path of Xiaomi and Lenovo, the leading smartphone vendor has taken a big leap to boost the sale of its famous budget phone coming at a price tag of Rs. 4,999. The white-gold and grey-silver variants of the power-packed phone will be up for grabs on July 27, 28 without any registerations, exclusively via Snapdeal.
The feature-rich Micromax Canvas Spark packs a nice set of specs with a 4.7-inch qHD (960 x 540) IPS display protected Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the box, and powers up by a MediaTek MT6582 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 1GB RAM.
The rear camera of Canvas Spark is an 8-megapixel shooter, while front-facing snapper is a powerful 2-megapixel shooter producing brilliant images under day-light and lowlight conditions. Moreover, inbuilt storage packed with this device is 8 gigs, and is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card.
It packs standard connectivity support with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS options, and comes with Reverie language pack offering support for more than 21 languages. The entire performance of this device is really fluid, and is perfectly complimented by a powerful 2000mAh battery offering enough juice for an entire day.
