With an objective of expanding its smartphone range, Intex has launched two new smartphones in the budget segment, Cloud Aqua Q1+ and a variant of Cloud M6. Both smartphones boast a decent set of specs, and come just around 5k to cater budget users with complete ease. The new Aqua Q1+ has been listed on company’s official website at Rs. 4,590, while the upgraded Cloud M6 will hit the shelves exclusively via Snapdeal at an enticing price tag Rs. 5,999.
The new Intex Aqua Q1+ sports a 4-inch FWVGA display, equipped with a Spreadtrum SC7731 chip clocked at of 1.2GHz, clubbed with 512MB of RAM and 8 gigs of built-in storage. The memory of this device is expandable up to 32GB via microSD, and camera capabilities are complimented by a powerful 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat straight out-of-the box, and comes with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, FM, and microUSB options.
On paper, Aqua Q1+ measures 135.6×66.5×9.65mm, weighs around 120 grams, and features a decent battery of 1600mAh. It can give up to 6 hours of talk time, and has been listed in Grey, Blue, and White color options.
The upgraded Intex Cloud M6, on the other hand, features enhanced RAM and ROM capabilities. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA display, equipped by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 chip, coupled with 2GB RAM instead of 1GB and 16GB of ROM instead of 8GB. The built-in memory packed with this device is expandable by up to 32GB, and is complimented by a powerful 8-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary snapper with a bunch of features like, LED flash and autofocus.
On the connectivity front, the upgraded Cloud M6 is complimented by 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and microUSB options. It ships with a bunch of sensors, packs a decent design language, and is proficiently backed by a long-lasting battery of 2000mAh. It can give up to 3-5 hours of talk time, and will come in traditional Black and white color options.
With the launch of two new smartphones, Intex has highlighted its intentions to dominate the budget segment with a big family of powerful and alluring smartphones. Before Cloud M6 and Aqua Q1+, the company launched Aqua Dream II with a 5.5-inch display and offered a bigger screen-size at a tempting price tag.
