LG G4 and G4 Stylus Get Price-Cut in India
As expected, renowned smartphone manufacturer LG has given a price-cut for its G4 and G4 Stylus smartphones in the Indian market. From now onwards, the leather black avatar of June-launched flagship will ship at Rs. 45,000, ceramic white variant will ship at Rs. 40,000, and the recently launched G4-stylus will come at Rs. 21,000. The G4 and G4 Stylus smartphones were initially priced at Rs. 51,000 and Rs. 24,990, and have received a price cut from the company.
The single and dual-sim variants of LG G4 feature a decent set of specs, and sport a 5.5-inch IPS Quantum Display with a pixel density of 538ppi. Both devices look completely identical, and power up by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at a frequency of 1.8GHz, clubbed with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The inbuilt-storage of both variants is expandable by up to 2TB, and is perfectly complimented by a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 lens and 8-megapixel front-facing snapper with f/2.0 lens. They run Android 5.1 Lollipop straight out-of-the box, and are backed by a long-lasting battery of 3000mAh.
The new LG G4 Stylus, on the other hand, features a bigger 5.7-inch HD display with a rubberdium stylus for smooth and glitch-free note-taking. It features a pixel density of 258ppi, and has been equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1.4GHz, clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The primary camera of this device is a 13-megapixel shooter and secondary camera is a 5MP snapper capable of producing brilliant selfies under different conditions. The inbuilt memory of this Lollipop-based phablet is 8GB, and is further expandable by up to 32 with microSD card. It also packs a bunch of connectivity options (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, NFC, 3G HSPA+, 4G LTE, micrUSB), and ships with a long-lasting battery of 3000mAh.
While announcing this price cut, Amit Gujral, the Marketing head of LG Mobiles in India commented, “This festive season we wanted to give consumers something to cheer about. The G4 and G4 Stylus are our best offerings in India this year and we have received a phenomenal response to these smartphones till now. With a further revision in prices, we are extending the availability to more and more people to enjoy the superior immersive & innovative experience these phones offer,”
