Samsung’s Unpacked Teaser Tips the launch of Three New Galaxy Devices
Samsung’s next launch was expected at IFA in September 2015, but now, it has been rescheduled to August 13 as Galaxy Unpacked 2015. The event is just a few days away, and several leaks and updates have been flooding in from all ends of the industry. However, Samsung’s Philippines latest teaser image has revealed something new about next Galaxy event. The teaser image shows speculated Galaxy Note 5, its dual edge variant or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and one other mysterious device with a bigger screen, probably a tablet. The image says, “We were the first to make them BIG. Now we’re making BIG even BETTER. Are you ready to Live BIG?” The caption is clearly highlighting the launch of next member of Note family, which took large-screen smartphone arena to a whole new level.
Along with this caption, the teaser image also flaunts three Galaxy devices piled over one another. The image appears pretty confusing, but most probably, the device at the top is Galaxy S6 Edge Plus with a metal frame and curved screen, the middle one looks like Galaxy Note 5 with curved screen and S Pen, and the bottom one is speculated as the biggest surprise, a new Tablet. Some of us expect to see the bigger avatar of the new Galaxy Tab S2, but since Sammobile has been speculating the launch of an upgraded tablet with curved display, nothing can be claimed before August 13.
Few days back, the alleged Galaxy Note 5 was seen in some leaked images. The device looked identical to Galaxy Note 4, and featured a metal frame, S Pen, and some standard connectivity options. It appeared fairly well built and featured a microUSB port instead of USB-Type C, headphone jack, and a single speaker at the bottom. On the screen, the upgraded air command feature was shown with a number of options including, Action memo, Smart Select, S Note, settings, and Instagram. The added option of Instagram revealed improved customization options, and the design language of the phone highlighted lack of removable battery and microSD card. Moreover, a separate leak via AnTuTu listing highlighted the specs of upcoming Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus devices.
