Lava Iris X1 Selfie with 5MP Front-Facing Camera Launched In India
After launching the earliest member of next gen Android One family, budget smartphone maker Lava has launched another Iris smartphone with an amazing combination of design and specs. The sixth avatar of Iris X1 series, X1 Selfie has been unveiled with a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper, and is set to hit the shelves online as well as offline at a price of Rs. 6,777. It’s one of the finest budget selfie smartphones, and will be for purchase next week.
Being a selfie-focused budget smartphone, Iris X1 Selfie primarily focuses on producing prolific daylight and low light selfies. It comes with a very powerful camera setup, and packs a rich set of features to cater standard photography requirements with complete ease. The dual-sim device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out-of-the box, and sports a vibrant 4.5-inch FWVGA display with IPS technology. Under the hood, it serves a real powerhouse with a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 chipset clocked at a frequency of 1.3GHz, coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM.
Iris X1 Selfie flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with LED flash, beautify, smoothing, and many more features. Whether its Burst mode or HDR mode, the image production of this device looks very good, and is perfectly perfectly complimented by 8 gigs of built-in storage, expandable by up to 32 gigs via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, Iris X1 Selfie packs standard support with a rich set of options like, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. It certainly misses out on LTE connectivity, but promises smooth browsing experience on 2G and 3G network. The weight and thickness of this device is barely 140 grams and 8.5mm. It’s perfectly backed by a decent battery of 2000mAh, and will be coming in a rich set of colors including, Royal Black, Purple, and Icy White.
