Wickedleak Wammy Neo 3 with 3GB RAM Launched at Rs. 15,990
India’s budget smartphone maker Wickedleak has launched its Wammy Neo 3 smartphone at a tempting price tag of Rs. 15,990. The dual-sim device packs ideal performance with 3 gigs of RAM, and will be hitting the shelves from 1st August via its own website.
The new Wammy Neo 3 flaunts a beautiful viewing experience with its 5.5-inch full HD IPS OGS screen, and powers up by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chip clocked at 1.7GHz, coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It runs the latest iteration of Android straight out-of-the box, and offers an ecstatic photography experience with a powerful 14-megapixel rear and 4.9-megapixel front-facing shooter. The rear camera of this device is complimented by a LED flash, while front-facing snapper comes with 84-degree wide-angle lens. The built-in storage equipped with this device is 16 gigs, and is further expandable by upto 64 gigs via external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, Wammy Neo 3 packs dual-sim support with rich set of options like, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, OTG, and microUSB 2.0. It also packs a 3.5mm audio jack and gives an incredible browsing experience on 2G, 3G, or 4G networks.
Physically, the Android 5.1 based Wammy Neo 3 is barely 8.7mm thick and 177 grams heavy. It’s backed by a long-lasting battery of 3000mAh, and comes with a bunch of sensors such as, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
At the launch, the CEO of Wickedleak, Aditya Mehta highlighted the competitive pricing and high-end specs of Wammy Neo 3 by saying, “With the launch of Wammy Neo 3, we intend to get premium devices in the hands of consumers at extremely competitive price points. At the same time, we are ensuring that the consumers would get all the latest specifications like 3GB DDR3 RAM and 64-bit processors”.
Few days back, WickedLeak launched another power packed phone at a price around 15k, Wammy Note 4. The android KitKat based smartphone, packs a nice set of specs, but under the hood, it’s completely identical to the newly launched Wammy Neo 3. Both devices are equipped with 3GB DDR3 RAM and pack a beautiful 5.5-inch full HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi.
