Today, Intel Corporation introduced the 6th Generation of Intel® Core™ processor family with a bunch of upgrades. The finest offering from the company promises enhanced performance, and brings a whole new experience with minimum power consumption and support for a massive range of devices. It redefines people’s relationship with computers, and is compatible with ultra-mobile computer sticks, 2-in-1s, Desktops, and Notebooks as well.
Unlike other processors, 6th Gen Intel Core processors create a perfect ecosystem to take advantage of all the new experiences available today. They have been designed on the new Skylake microarchitecture with 14nm manufacturing process, and can deliver up to two and a half times better performance, triple battery life, and 30 times better gaming performance. Compared to an average 5-year old computer, the performance of these processors will be way more seamless, smooth, and glitch-free. The company has also reduced their weight and thickness, and has enhanced their wake up time to half a second, and battery backup to an entire day.
Along with improved performance, 6th Gen Intel Core processors will also offer support for a wide range of devices. From now, the Intel Core M processor will come in different levels Intel Core m3, m5 and m7 for providing people with clarity in selecting the perfect chipset as per their needs. A new member powered by 6th Gen Intel core M processor has also been introduced in Intel® Compute Stick series.
The latest generation of Intel processors includes first-of-its kind mobile designs, which enables overclocking with more user control, and includes a new Intel Core i5 processor that offers improved mobile-multi-tasking, and Intel® Xeon® E3 processor for powering mobile workstations with minimal glitches. As far as graphic capabilities are concerned, they feature significant improvements in graphic performance to offer stunning visuals for gaming, video creation, and media playback. Intel® Speed Shift technology enhances responsiveness of mobile systems, and takes performance to a whole new level!
Besides this, 6th Gen Intel Xenon and Intel core processors will pack a bunch of new features and upgrades for standard users. With these platforms, 2-in-1s hybrids, Notebooks, and all-in-one desktops will feature Thunderbolt™ 3 USB Type-C standard for improved connectivity, and Intel® RealSense™ Camera for taking 3-D selfies, scanning objects and printing-in 3D.
Intel’s latest 6th Gen processors will grow company’s “no wires” initiative to deliver immersive experience for wireless display with Intel® WiDi or Pro WiDi technology. It allows people to share from computer to TV, projectors, and monitors without fiddly dongles and wires. The new processors are also optimized for Windows 10 features such as, Cortana and Windows Hello. From device security with True Key™ technology to voice and facial recognition, 6th Gen Intel Core processor-based systems will give a perfect platform for logging in and accessing your device securely.
The company also plans to unveil more than 48 processors in the lineup 6th Gen Intel Core processors. The new chipsets will be coming with a bunch of features such as, Intel® Iris™ and Iris Pro graphics. A massive selection of machines-powered by these processors will be coming from manufacturers around the world.
