Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE Launched in India at Rs. 39,400
This Wednesday, leading tech-giant, Samsung launched Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE at Rs. 39,400. Available in Black, White, and gold color options, the new device will hit the shelves via company’s retail outlets from Wednesday. It looks extremely impressive, and has been crowned as the slimmest tablet with mere 5.6mm thickness. Its global launch held earlier in July 2015.
In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE sports a QXGA Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 264ppi. It gives a decent visual experience, and powers up by company’s own Exynos 5433 chip with four cores clocked at 1.9 GHz and other four clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
For photography enthusiasts, the Android Lollipop-based Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE includes an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f1.9 aperture and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper. It delivers ideal image quality under different conditions, and comes packed with 32GB of inbuilt-storage, with expandability up to 128GB through micro-SD card.
On the connectivity front, the new tablet features a Nano-SIM card slot, and packs decent support with a bunch of options such as, Wi-Fi, 3G HSPA+, 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, and microUSB-2.0. It features a 3.5mm audio jack for prolific music-experience and boasts a rich set of sensors including, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, RGB sensor, compass, and hall sensor. A fingerprint sensor is also on-board for enhanced bio-metric security and improved user-experience.
The latest beauty from Samsung flaunts a nice look, weighs around 392 grams, and measures 169×237.3×5.6mm in terms of dimensions. It promises top-tier performance, and is backed by a long-lasting 5870mAh battery, that can give up to 12 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 will go on sale with several launch offers! Samsung has partnered with Airtel and is offering free 2GB of 4G data/month for two months. Added to this, the company is also offering Galaxy gifts worth over Rs. 31,000 with the tablet. Selected apps will be free to download for a fixed time-period, and users will also get 100GB of online storage with One Drive for a period up to two years. Additional accessories for the device will also go on sale soon!
