Apple iOS 6 Download Availability | World Wide Release Time
The latest version of Apple’s mobile OS – the iOS 6 will be available for public download on September 19. But with different time zones and regions, users are unclear about the exact availability time of iOS 6. Historically, iOS has been released by 10.00am PST. This has been the case with iOS 5 and iOS 4 release. So this will be the most likely time when iOS 6 will be made available for download to all the Apple fanatics.
Apple has made iOS 6 to come pre-installed in the iPhone 5. The iPhone 4S and the new iPad will have all the features of iOS 6 and users can upgrade it, in case they wish to. The iPhone 4 will work on iOS 6 but certain features like Maps Flyovers, Turn by turn navigation and Facetime over 3G won’t be available.
iPhone 3GS will also work on iOS 6 except for the Maps Flyovers, Turn by turn navigation, Shared Photo Stream, VIP Mail List and Facetime over 3G. Siri won’t be available for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS by default.
iPad 2 will miss out iOS 6 features such as Siri and Facetime over 3G. The iPod Touch is fully compatible with iOS 6 with all the features available for use. In case if you have any other older Apple products other than those mentioned, iOS 6 won’t be compatible with it.
