BLM’s Law Enforcement Powers to be Abolished in New Legislation (Video)
How many Americans know what REALLY happened at the Bundy Ranch standoff when the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) squared off against citizen militia from around the country? Aside from this one video below which most people probably haven’t seen, did you know Obama gave the green light to fire on civilians? Don’t take my word for it… hear it straight the mouth of one of the BLM agents. Also in the video below, you’ll see that there were women and children present, and the heroic steps that one man there filing a documentary took in order to prevent what could have been a bloodbath.
Just after the 5:00 minute mark my eyes still well up when I think of how THAT happened in THIS country.

At least with the Bunch Ranch fiasco, there was a fair amount of press coverage on the event. There certainly wasn’t a ton, and notice I said fair amount, not fair coverage. During the more recent BLM standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon, the public knew almost nothing about what was REALLY happening because the mainstream media takes its orders from the Obama administration so the media barely covered it at all, and what little was covered was mostly untrue. It didn’t help that the FBI Attempted to Shut Down All Forms if Alternative Media as best as it was able to. The final outcome of that standoff was the FBI-Sanctioned Assassination of LaVoy Finicum (Video), all members of the protest being Incarcerated or Hunted by law enforcement, and we’re told that allegedly 5 Elite FBI Agents Are Under Criminal Investigation For The Killing (Video).

What is conveniently NEVER talked about, is WHY militia members from all over the country convened in Burns, Oregon in the first place. You’ll no doubt find yourself wondering how the government has been permitted to run such a criminal enterprise for so long, and you’ll understand why Rep. Finally, after the article from Tim Brown at Freedom Outpost, at the end of this post Gavin Seim talks about what We the People can do to help our brothers and sisters in the liberty movement who are currently being held captive in Portland, Oregon.
They are being held as political prisoners, or as prisoners of war you might say, by a lawless federal government that has declared war on liberty, the Constitution of the United States, and We the good people of this nation. In the video, Gavin discusses three things that those of us on the outside can do to help Ammon Bundy & Co. who are still locked up.

Following all of the attention over the past couple of years regarding the abusive nature of the Bureau of Land Management and the controversy over land that has been unconstitutionally grabbed by the DC government, things are finally coming to a head. Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has put forth a piece of legislation that would “terminate the law enforcement functions of the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management and to provide block grants to States for the enforcement of Federal law on Federal land under the jurisdiction of these agencies, and for other purposes.”
HR 4751 is titled “Local Enforcement for Local Lands Act.” The bill does the following:
Terminates the law enforcement function within BLM and Forest Service.
Provides block granted funding to local law enforcement.
Deputizes local law enforcement to defend federal land.
Establishes a formula to reimburse local governments for law enforcement on public lands based on the percentage of public land in each state.
Restores responsibility for law enforcement to elected officials who are accountable to the local community.
“Federal agencies do not enjoy the same level of trust and respect as local law enforcement that are deeply rooted in local communities,” Chaffetz said in a statement. This legislation will help de-escalate conflicts between law enforcement and local residents while improving transparency and accountability. The BLM and Forest Service will be able to focus on their core missions without the distraction of police functions.”

Chaffetz has the support of the Utah Sheriffs’ Association as well.
In a March 16 letter to Chaffetz from Sheriff Robert Dekker, President of the Utah Sheriffs’ Association, he wrote, “Last week the Utah Sheriffs Association met with you and your staff in reference to the Local Enforcement for Local Lands Act at the Utah State Capitol. Utah Sheriffs have a strong heritage in keeping the authority of the Sheriff a top priority. The Utah Sheriffs Association has seen federal officials try and usurp this authority by enacting laws and regulations that mirror state law. They have dealt with aggressive and over reactive federal land agents and have joined with other Western States Sheriffs in the same issues.”
“The Utah Sheriffs Association applauds you in recognizing this problem and reigning [sic] in these federal land management agents,” Dekker added. “We support this bill 100% and would like to help in any possible way. Thank you for looking out for Utah Sheriffs and the authority our constituents and the constitution has granted us.”
So far, Chaffetz has five co-sponsors: Reps. Rob Bishop (R-UT), Chris Stewart (R-UT), Mia Love (R-UT), Dan Newhouse (R-WA), and Paul A. Gosar (R-AZ).
One month prior to Chaffetz’s legislation being introduced, Sheriff Marty Gleave spoke before the Rural Caucus of the Utah State legislature and warned that he would “ deputize every man, woman and child in the county to stop what’s going on” with the BLM and the US Forest Services.
The bill comes almost two months after the Oregon State Police and FBI murdered peaceful protester and unarmed LaVoy Finicum in an ambush that appears to have been authorized by the White House through the Governor’s office. Several protesters from the Bundy Ranch siege, who also protested peacefully against hundreds of armed BLM agents, have been arrested and there appear to be more arrests in the future. My fellow Americans, the issue of the totalitarian BLM and the protests at Bundy Ranch, Oregon and the case of the Hammond family ranchers being imprisoned for doing what ranchers do yet the BLM does the same thing, only criminally, needs to continue to be pushed to the front of the news cycle. Contact your congressman and urge them to get behind this legislation.

When push came to shove, Ammon Bundy and Co. put their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor on the line to stand up for YOUR rights, the same rights that many Americans are too ignorant to even realize are being trampled… because it hasn’t affected them personally… yet! But it will…
It’s time for those of us who are not in jail stop making excuses for why we can’t get involved, and help our fellow countrymen. As Gavin puts it, it’s time we either stand up for liberty, or we show our true colors, which is to say that we were never FOR liberty to begin with. You can’t be FOR liberty solely when it’s convenient for you. That’s not how it works. The good folks from the Malheur Wildlife Refuge are rotting in jail right now, and without due process. Because they are in jail, and because they are not able to provide for their families, it’s their loved ones at home who are suffering greatly as well, some just trying to survive.

In the video, Gavin discusses three things we can do to be helping our fellow patriots who the government won’t release. If you happen to be one of those people who “takes issue with the tactics used by the group that occupied the Malheur Wildlife Refuge,” so that’s how you ”rationalize” not standing up and helping, then this is a perfect time to talk about Gavin’s first suggestion:
#1) GET THE NARRATIVE RIGHT!
What “tactics” didn’t you agree with exactly? Here are the FACTS: The group that occupied Malheur Wildlife Refuge did nothing more than engage in a political protest, so unless you object to the First Amendment, or you object to the Right to Bear Arms, then whatever “tactics” you think they used were a distortion of the truth supplied to you by the mainstream media.
The group occupied the refuge, and their occupation included being armed for self-defense purposes only, NOT for preemptive strikes, a point that was made VERY clear to Sheriff Ward over and over. In other words, the men and women protesting were exercising their rights protected under the Second Amendment to protect their rights, which are to be protected under the First Amendment! To sum up the first thing we can do, start by GETTING THE NARRATIVE CORRECT, and then SPREAD the TRUTH to those still being manipulated by the lies.
#2) START SHOWING UP!
Obviously this won’t be possible for everyone, but if you are within a reasonable distance, start showing up. The group currently being held as political prisoners showed up for you when it counted, and look what it got them! It’s time we return the favor if we have the means to. and that means showing up at the prisons to visit, at local rallies, or even in the courtrooms.
#3) START GIVING!
As I said already, It’s time to stop making excuses. It’s time we either step up for liberty when it matters most, when it’s under attack, or we demonstrate to the world that we were never FOR liberty to begin with. The group being held as prisoners put their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor on the line for you, so even those folks out here living through tough times should be able to spare a few dollars to ease the suffering of those held captive, and the suffering of their loves ones.

(on BOTH sides of the political isle) and all of their co-conspirators , all of the now federalized “militerized” police departments around the country and federal law enforcement and the new world dis-order “elite” all seem to be “Hell Bent” on trying to start a new american revolution and civil war in this country as well as a Third World War with Russia , China , Iran and North Korea and their minor allies !!! This IS absolute MADNESS !!! I completely agree that we need to stand together as a people for our rights and freedoms NOW or VERY soon we won’t have ANY but the real problem is that MOST americans are brainwashed and completely oblivious to the very real threat and imminent danger that faces us in this nation right now ! Most of them WON’T wake up until it’s to late and the “WOLF” is not only AT their doors but IN their homes hauling them away to new american nazi internment forced labor and death camps or killing them if they even try to resist ! HOW do you wake up people that just WON’T listen or believe ?
So, I applaud all this, but wait a minute. We have a sheriff that says “we don’t need no stinking militia” right before he says he will deputize everyone. Yaknow, he doesn’t need those who are willing to drive hundreds of miles to your defense! We have half an attempt to corall the fedgov monster, but, by saying you will simply remove their “law enforecement” abilities, you’re actually giving credence to the idea hat they have a lagitimate role, which they do not! And, as you may know, local law enforecement that works with federal “authorities” in “federal” matters, also enjoy immunity. So, how is this different from what just took place in oregon! Once again, we have a silly non solution to a tyrannical fedgov!
