Lavoy Finicum’s Widow Gives a Heart-Wrenching Speech at Recent Event (Video)
In the four years I’ve been writing, I can say with absolute certainty that no news story, or no group of people within any news story has had a more profound effect on me than the story involving the takeover of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge back in January by the sons of Cliven Bundy, and of course the late Lavoy Finicum. You can see from the links at the bottom, I’ve covered the story from start to present, and there has been a tremendous following.
For me, the emotional attachment to this story came long before Lavoy’s Finicum’s death, or the protest at the Oregon refuge all together for that matter. It began at the Bundy Ranch with a video I include below. When I first saw the video immediately below, I cried. Having seen it at least a hundred times now, at the 5:40 mark I still have to fight a tear on occasion. The last three minutes of that video made me realize how much damage Barack Obama had REALLY done to the country.
Knowing that the BLM had the green light to fire, watching the end of the video was like getting sucker punched in my soul it bothered me so much. That was when I realized we were no longer the country I grew up in, but one where violence at the hands of the federal government, or even Martial Law is entirely possible. Take a look:

I realize some people have very strong opinions about what happened at the Bundy Ranch and at the Oregon Refuge, but I have a hard time believing ANY red blooded patriot would take issue with what happened at EITHER if they knew the REAL story, and ALL of it. Instead, most people have a horribly distorted idea of what happened in BOTH places thanks to a lying and manipulative mainstream media that had an agenda to fulfill.
You see, none of the militia members were the trigger happy rednecks they were portrayed to be. Instead, this was a group of families that had been thoroughly abused by the federal government for decades in some cases. The legal requirements of administrative due process for enforcement action against a federal permittee for trespassing or any other violation takes time. It entails a series of letters and accrued penalties, then legal action, and finally a judicial decision. This process can take YEARS, and has taken over 20 in the case of Cliven Bundy.
In other words, the system isn’t designed for issues to be resolved. It’s designed to wear down or bankrupt permittee families. For that reason, LONG before the Oregon Refuge, Cliven Bundy, Wayne Hage, Mary Bulloch, and LaVoy Finicum signed a pact saying they would be each other’s keeper, and if the BLM stepped out of line, they would come to the aid of one another. Obviously they knew they could not rely on the government for protection. THAT is why crowds amassed at the Bundy Ranch to begin with. As it relates to Lavoy Finicum’s widow speaking, you can hear her heart-wrenching story below. Perhaps the most emotional part of her speech is when she responds to what her State Senators have told her. They’ve told her that despite the death of Lavoy, at every level officials are hesitant to get involved because the opposition is so strong and so powerful.
Jeanette Finicum’s response: “We the people are stronger, and there are more of us, but we need to start speaking up!” Amen to that Jeanette. Amen indeed.

There are not many who would consider themselves members of the Patriot Community who have not heard about the murder of LaVoy Finicum. To recap, LaVoy Finicum, along with various members of the Bundy family, were involved in the peaceful occupation of the Malheur Refuge in Oregon this past winter.
During a trip to a meeting in a neighboring county, Finicum, along with the rest of the peaceful protestors, were apprehended by members of the Oregon State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations in an obvious ambush; with certain members of the convoy being fired upon repeatedly by the aforementioned agencies. One of the people who were in the group that were fired upon was LaVoy Finicum.
As seen in the video released by “authorities,” LaVoy exited the vehicle in an apparent attempt to draw gunfire away from his traveling companions. Sadly, LaVoy was executed for his actions. Deserving, perhaps, a ticket for Trespassing, LaVoy Finicum was basically murdered for taking a peaceful stand against the Federal Government. LaVoy’s death, however, was not in vain, as countless patriots have mobilized and are taking action as a direct result his criminal execution. One prominent member of the Finicum family, LaVoy’s widow, Jeanette, has picked up the torch and is taking action.

One can only imagine the pain involved with losing a spouse; especially one as beloved as LaVoy Finicum was to his wife and family. When faced with such adversity, there are a few paths that a person can choose. Taking a stand and getting into the fight is the path that Jeanette Finicum and her family have taken. As Jeanette outlines in the video below, when they silenced LaVoy’s voice they born 12 more; as LaVoy’s children and family have now become active in the movement for Constitutional principles.

That sucks for his wife but it doesn’t change the fact that he said he wouldn’t be taken alive and got himself shot. He could’ve just went home and decided to stop squatting on land he didn’t own.
Was not the alleged Lavoy who said that an unidentifiable person under a blanket. The interviewer was Pete Santilli who managed to identify to the authorities all the protestors.
